Dealer called to say they got my 2020 JLU back from the body shop! New hood, doors, gate, hinges, windshield & frame. Going to detail shop for Zurich shield and 30K service. They have had it since May 20th. Keeping fingers crossed for fit & finish!

Wow, some of these stories... Guess I was lucky to have a good dealer with an in house body shop near me (not even the dealer where I bought the Jeep). Never even hinted it wouldn't be taken care of. Dropped off on Monday and picked up on Friday and given a loaner for the week. If I lived where some of you lived I would be so hesitant to even buy a Jeep with all the shady dealers out there.
Yup, that's the play. Find a dealer with an in house body shop and they'll usually take it no questions asked. Strongly suggest people go out of their way to find one to avoid wasting their time asking random dealers

Took Andy for a long spin and still pleased. Dealer called to check on satisfaction level which is through the roof.

Jeep Wrangler JL Poll: Bubbles in Paint?? andy

Happy now Andy? Ah ha!

He let it slip that the parts and paint were north of $12K.

So I reached out to @JeepCares as the group suggested. Welp Jeep screwed me again. I was waiting to hear back from my case manager after speaking with her on 7/31; I received a message the other day saying that I agreed to pay 60% (over $8,000) of the repair and the dealer would pay 40%. @JeepCares transferred the funds to the dealer, so they will not change the percentage. However, I never spoke to my case manager about a percentage of the repair. I talked to her once during the initial assessment (7/31). She took it upon herself to agree to 60% and now she no longer works there and they are closing my case. They said they could not change the percentage because they sent the funds to the dealership! FML!!! This is par for the course!

Yep, Jeep Cares. Once again, @JeepCares lives up to their reputation. Is their no shame, or integrity with this group?

None of that sounds correct. They paid the dealer BEFORE the repairs were done?
Ask the dealer for the approximately 5k and use the cash to trade it in for a '24.

Made if almost three years (in December) with no bubbles on hinges but within the last couple of months noticed it on hinges on three doors. Just as a note it’s always garaged and only has about 28,000 on it. But I guess it comes from the inside out so weather and exposure probs doesn’t really matter. Definitely bummed though.

I picked up my Jeep 10/30/2021, Bright White. I now have 57k miles. I was bubble free until a few months ago I noticed a few small bubbles on the bottom edge of the hood at the driver's side tire.

Those bubbles have not grown at all. But now most of my door hinges have some bubbles, haven't checked the hood hinges. A couple of the door hinges have significant bubbles, so they when from nothing to a lot of bubbles in a pretty short span.

What is the best way to go about getting the bubbles addressed/fixed? Is there a mileage limit?

5 years, no mileage limit. Take it to as many dealers you have to until you find one willing to do the repairs. Any bubbling away from the hinges (like your hood) necessitates replacing the panel.
