Thank you for all the help -- I was able to unclip the top and pull the dash cam cord through it.

Then I just kept going -- unwound the cord from the a-pillar grab handle, and ran it along the frame instead. Then I pulled off another panel (more clips) went under the glove compartment. Then I took the cord where I also had it initially (hidden reasonable nicely) -- behind the plastic along the floor, up, through the notch, and plugged into the center console. It's a MUCH cleaner look now, and I'm getting a lot bolder about pulling apart the Jeep. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but I am definitely seeing/feeling the appeal of doing these things

I'd love to see it!
Hey ArcadeTracks, sorry I haven't gotten around to taking pictures yet (it keeps slipping my mind) but this is the OBD to USB power solution I ended up with.

I started with a cheap Chinese one for $10 but it broke after a day (and about 3 hours of instalation) and I had to re-do it... just buy the nice one.

Also I ran two USB cables (since it has two ports) and coiled one up and hid it inside the driver side hand hold where I ran the other cable behind.

I figure running the wire was the hard part and now I have another USB cable available to me if I ever need more power.

Another advantage of the garmin is if it ever breaks I already have the USB cords run and that's the PITA of the installation

Thanks, Mike. Which cam are you using.? I assume you ran the wire up one of the pillars and then tucked it across to the cam? I don't drive my JL every day and would be concerned about draining the battery with a 24-hr cam. Your experience?
