OEM auto dimming rear view mirror

I believe it does I would go very but my Z Case Fuse array took a shit when pulling out a dead ESS battery so u till I can track one down locally and get my fuse box back in I got no juice lol

I’ve got an even weirder update to the story. Today, I noticed my mirror dim icon was randomly orange for the first time since doing this project, sure enough I held my light up to the mirror and saw it rapidly darken. When I started the Jeep up again the icon is again gray and unselectable. I’m at a complete loss!! This confirms to me that I’ve done everything correctly. But the issue is somewhere in the electronics of the uconnect or BCM. Ugh….

Hmm I would deff check all the connections; and then disconnect both batteries. Then try turning it back in on the taser or what ever programmer you are using (it has to be enabled in the BCM and radio) seams like it’s being seen by one but not on in the other

Update! My auto dimming rear view mirror has now been completely working for several weeks now. My recommendation for anyone that tackles this project as I have, set the auto dim icon to one of your favorites on the bottom row of uconnect. The icon will turn orange when everything is activated. For some reason, this took several weeks after enabling using my tazer, but it did eventually work. I would assume it took the BCM awhile to see the activated mirror for whatever reason.
