I think cross path detection alerts you when a vehicle is travelling perpendicular to your path behind you (e.g. backing out of a parking spot).

Our other vehicles have it and it has actually been helpful at times, say when parked next to a large SUV and you can't really see what traffic you're backing into.

What will be interesting is how the aftermarket world deals with all of these sensors.
You are correct per the owner's manual.

The Aux switches on the dash, only come with the Tow package?

Great! I'd like that feature, as I've got kids running around everywhere. I've ruined two plastic bumpers on my JK from backing into stumps or rocks off-road, too, so the sensors and camera will be a welcome addition.

Thought for sure you were gonna say “I’ve ruin two plastic bumpers from backing into kids running around everywhere.”

I've got one whose head is hard enough that it would have caused frame damage.

Does anybody have any rough idea of how much it will cost to add these packages? I'm interested in:

JL Rubicon

Cold Weather Group
Safety Group
Electronic Infotainment Sys Group
LED Lighting Group

maybe:

Steel Bumper Group
Trailer Tow and HD Electrical Group
Dual Top (I don't see this listed)

Just to clarify... no Alpine system, BFG KO2, or LED headlight options for the Sport? So I’ll have to upgrade to the 40 something thousand dollar Rubicon just to at least have one of these options?...

Get the Sport, Izzy says Alpine available on Sport, then buy your own KO2s and LED headlights. Sell the stock tires. A lot cheaper than stepping up to a Rubicon.
