I love my JL as much as the next guy but take off your JL blinders and do bother reading about the Gladiator's specs (i.e. towing capacity and payload capacity, which blow away the JL's) before you say  things.
So no, taking down your top and folding your rear seats does not even...
Finally more trail mirror options for running without doors. Looks like an easy install by screwing into windshield hinge. Wonder if it prevents windshield from being folded down though?
Are you talking about price increases in terms of price gouging by dealers due to high demand? If so, that won't affect the tread lightly discount. The tread lightly discount gets you 1% below invoice price. Invoice price is set by FCA, so unless FCA decides to increase invoice price (won't...
Tow rating for the JL, JLU and JT were revealed at http://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/jl-jlu-wrangler-weight-tow-capacity-max-payload-specs.1440/
This is by no means official. That's just from this video made by someone who does a bunch of these evolution videos. They've also made ones for the 911, 3 Series, Civic.
The best place placement for nav instructions is on a HUD head-up display, next best is in the information display screen like in Grand Cherokee. Having map/instructions on phone or uconnect screen takes your eyes from the road more.
I wonder if those projections are for first year only. If they are, we could see the projected diesel production # go higher after the first year because the diesel will start production 8-9 months after the Pentastar and Turbo 4 models.
Yea 2018 JK / JKU orders are open. See http://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/explained-why-dealers-are-confusing-2018-jku-orders-for-next-gen-2018-jl-wrangler.1333/
Nothing weird, just another clueless salesperson
It will turn out like this - So my Jeep dealership just called me and said I can order a JLU now..
Tell them to visit here so they'll know when they can actually begin submitting orders :cwl:
Yep side mirror turn signals were confirmed early on. The leaked production images showed them.
And it's been listed on the features list for a while - http://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/2018-jeep-wrangler-jl-jlu-and-2019-pickup-jt-info-compilation.21/
The leaked official image already showed that the roof would be fully removable. But always good to see it in real life. Wonder if there's any chance we'll see a JL/JLU prototype with hardtop removed at some point before official reveal.
Makes sense if the smallest 5" screen will get more physical buttons for control since there's less screen space and functionality likely. And no way the standard dash will be silver! This could just be matched to the exterior, which looks silver from the door frame.
Thought this was an interesting article on the Jeep brand and its draw.
Agree with the article?

Nice touch. These little attentions to detail will make the interior feel even more well resolved and custom for the Wrangler. The windshield could use more rake though to match the JL's windshield..... kidding!
