Any modifications? Skid Plates? Lights infront of the grill? Inner Fender plating?

I am thinking time for a new radiator. Maybe has internal obstruction. Fan clutch? Don’t really know what I am talking about on a fan clutch. Fan put on backwards, if that is possible?

The cooling fans are electric, just like every modern vehicle.

the OP is a 2021 model, what year are the other two jeeps mentioned with heat issues? I have a 20 and have not noticed or monitored this. Only had it 30 days.

jerrgcoffy on August 3, 2023 has a thread on here with a lot of info, sorry run out of skills on trying to link the thread, use to know how to do that, Covid erased some skills.

to echo @SargeDiesel some time thermostat when going bad require some assistance to open up and this show up as extra water pressure that increase with rpm.

I did have a similar issue on the JK but I was also having the water fall therefore air in the system. Except for the water fall symptom it was the same, high temperature while idle and normal temperature while driving. Was usually seeing this while waiting at the drive thru, my simple answer was to just rev the engine at idle to create more flow.
Also turning the heater on full blast can help, but can really suck in certain situations.

Yes i have to rev up the engine while idling so the temps go down
Try turning the heater on full blast... I know this sucks if its already hot outside, but it will help lower the temp by getting rid of excess heat.

Regardless of the bashing I've received for this, IMO your symptoms still sound like a partially open..."stuck" thermostat. I'm sure the experts can come up with other issues that can cause these symptoms, but being OS, I believe going after the simple, least expensive potential problems first. Checking a thermostat or doing a pressure test is practically free.

If the loop is intact, no coolant lost or burn, than there is a flow or heat exchange issue.
The validation using the laser thermometer is a great idea IMO.
Would remove the thermostat and run open be a good test at this point ?

So it spiked up while iddling (fans were on full blast) :/ weird thing is that after Rev it up for 10 seconds it went back to normal temps.

So I took it back to the dealership so they can fix it. Here's the diagnostic. It's all good now.
