Willys over Willys sport is actually a good deal for that extra 4k with power locks, windows, mirror, LED package etc.. I just decided this on a whim and stuck with it. I don't commute or drive much. Wanted something cheaper but good capability off road.
I'm pretty sure anything else is an additional cost except for the power mirrors. I did one on the website and any additional add ons are a lot of $ compared to competitors. You can get a lot more on a Bronco for the price. I prefer the interior, but looks and suspension on the Jeep. Imo

I'm hoping competitors start roasting Jeep and that motivates Jeep to improve.

Here's a pic of my Willys Xtreme Recon Sport.

I also went with the 2.0t and it's definitely the option to go with. I'm averaging about 19mpg driving on the 101 in Central CA. I commute 80+ miles a day on 87 Octane and there is a good amount of hills. The power is great with the 4.56 gears and the 2.0t. I drove an eTorque V6 and it didn't feel as responsive. I also had a Gladiator and Wrangler with a V6. I feel that the 4cyl is a big improvement. No regrets.

It looks like the difference between the Sport and Sport S is only $1600.
But the difference between the Willys Sport and the Willys is $4000. So the step up in the Willys includes a lot more than just power locks.

Had both

I loved the Willy’s sport more
Manual gears doors and locks and saved 4k ?

I didn't see anything on either model on the Jeep website that made the LED package available. With the Willy's you can get the safety package that has LED tail lights, but don't they already come with the LED lighting package?

I'll miss the manual gears. My last car was a 2013 mustang GT manual!
I wish jeep had manual with the Xtreme recon package. May be they'll announce it soon.

LED headlights and fog lights are part of standard equipment on WIllys. I think tail lights you have to add safety group:

I just looked everything up on the build sheets instead of the Jeep website. Thanks for the correction. Guess I should have used search first and then posted.

The salesman and finance manager had a good attitude. They had a 5k mark up that I refused to pay. They made me pay for Swat (tracking) $990, some clear shield $380, and windshield warranty $990. For a whopping $2380 extra. I paid MSRP+ these accessories that are a complete rip off. Swat tracking is terrible, the clear shield was already coming off on the doors, and the windshield warranty was expensive.

I'm actually from Santa Barbara County. I had to drive far out to their dealership. I was annoyed that they don't advertise the mark ups.

I actually went in for the High Tide with an advertised price of 52k. The accessories are advertised. I knew what I was getting myself into with that, but I was not expecting the 10k mark up that wasn't advertised. They refuse to negotiate on their "limited edition" models. I could have probably fought the price of the accessories, but I had $6500 of negative equity on my current car. I negotiated the negative equity by 1k. So I paid $5500 of negative equity, paid that and a down payment in cash.

Their finance rates weren't good at all. So, I went with my local credit union SESLOC that offered me far better rates. My Fico was just under 800 and every dealer always tried to give you some shitty rates.

-Side Note-
I had an amazing experience with Clovis Jeep back in 2020. They let me use a local credit Union called NOBLE from Fresno. They let me take a Gladiator Willys Sport at 15% under MSRP! End of the month special. But they made me pay for accessories as well, but I was still way under MSRP.

Just like I figured
I tried to order with affiliate 1% below invoice and they refused
We didn’t even get to the accessories part

Plus they told me my Jeep 392 was worth 60k back in march ? but theirs was 140k

I used that to my advantage. They claimed the "low inventory" markup. Well, if you have low inventory, then my car is worth more than your trade offer. ?

Boom, instant 1k to offset those trash accessories. ?

I think they raised the markup on that 392 to 100k over MSRP. ?

Hi everyone,

Ordered a Willys sport with xrecon package!! This is my first jeep and first post here :)

I was interested in 4XE Rubicon and test drove it and loved it. But didn't make much sense for me with the MPG on highways and my current charging situation (live in an apartment complex with no charging station) Then came across this amazing package which I thought would be a good trade off for a off road capable non Rubicon rig and save some money! What do you all think about it? I would love to take it to trails but no prior experience so wouldn't be doing anything crazy...

I am assuming 2.0 currently doesn't have electric motor on it and it's been proven for a while on jeep. I loved when I test drove and went with that option!
I would want not to modify it soon but already started looking in to tunes and exhausts :D

Also, what kind of warranty additions do you all suggest when I buy?

Nice combo. You will love it

I went Willy's in blue with the XR package and also the sound and sun package which is actually a real good deal. Only wish it came with a front camera option

This California dealer sells for MSRP, no add ons, no mark ups, no games.

As someone that had a Bronco reservation, the price difference (depending on options) was minor, and the Jeep was less expensive, twice (yeah, I ordered a 2021 and 2022 JLR and they were both much less expensive than the Bronco).
