I pre ordered my tail lights from Oracle. Twice before I’ve had to get a replacement light. Now my right side rear isn’t working right again. This really sucks. I paid a lot for these lights, I love how they look, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the reverse lights but if they keep failing I don’t see how I can keep them on my Jeep. I’ve been looking at ones from MetalCloak and Combat Offroad. Does anybody have any experience with either of these ? Or do you know of any other good ones ? I really don’t want to put those hideous stock tail lights back on, but I also don’t want a fix-it ticket. I am gonna reach out to Oracle AGAIN, just to see if they have had more problems like mine or if they have a real fix, not just another light that’s gonna fail again.
On a side note, I got Oracles back up light for my Gladiator too. They originally had me wire them directly to the existing tail light harness. That blew the light, caused the GPS, radio and about everything electrical to go haywire. Got the $900 factory taillight replaced and then they sent me a harness to tie the new reverse light into the trailer harness. No more problems and have fantastic reverse lights again in the Gladiator. For now, my confidence in them is quickly fading.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us—your feedback is incredibly valuable. I’m sorry to hear about the repeated issues with your taillights, and we understand how disappointing that must be. Rest assured, our team is committed to finding a lasting solution for you.
A customer service rep will be reaching out via email to discuss next steps and troubleshoot the issue. We’re here to make this right and appreciate your patience as we work through it!

I did. Installed them about 3 weeks ago. Work great, no hyper flash and no error messages. I love the look. Great fit and good quality. I really like that they come with the resistors pre-installed in the Morimoto taillamp wiring. No need to splice the factory wiring harness. Resistors are magnetic mount, so no need to drill mounting holes or use double sided tape. Very professional product.

Can you post any more pics of different angles of these lights?

Hows the Reverse Light? As bright as Oracle?

I have no experience with the Oracle lights. The Morimoto backup lights are much brighter than the factory lights (doesn't take much) and plenty bright enough for me. Morimoto does offer an optional back up light bar that mounts at the top of the license plate and plugs directly into the drivers side tail lamp. I did not get this optional back up light bar... Yet.

@VooDoo1 did you have the factory LED tail lights before these?
Just so I know what brightness you’re referring to as to what you started out with compared to Morimotos.

I had the halogen tail lights. I did replace the back up bulbs with Lasfit LED bulbs. The Morimoto are brighter than both.

Ouch, that’s rough. Yes, I’ve had some issues with these lights, but the look of them, combined with those daylight bright reverse lights, keep me coming back for more. It may have been just a bad batch, in China, so maybe this next one will be the winner. I think if they found a problem, they would fix it. So I’m very hopeful.

With all of the diode failures, has anyone put them in the oven at 400°F for an hour, and then shut the oven off and let everything cool naturally? This should reflow the solder and MAYBE relight the diodes?
