good point, checked the front and verified no issue.Double check, make sure the front doesn't have a problem.
I'm not lifted. But I originally bought these for my 2020Sport S with Halogen lights and no BSM (worked awesome!!). I've recently traded up to a 2024 Willys with LED and BSM. I had to put the stock taillights back on cause I couldn't get the BSM to work at all. Do you guys have instructions on how to shim the BSM modules? Has Oracle redesigned their taillights so BSM works? I Love these lights, just want the BSM to work.Using a small shim behind the BSM in the upper corners will help angle the sensor when used on taller or lifted vehicles.
The conventional wisdom is that there's no solution that would allow the lights' flush-mount profile to remain intact.I originally bought these for my 2020 Sport S with Halogen lights and no BSM.

While the factory sensor locations are engineered to be in those locations for the best results, especially with stock ride heights, we have found solid results on lifted vehicles with our lights. The shimming of the sensors has worked on our vehicles and the vehicles of others that done so. Although your assessment of the "tumor-like appearance" is accurate. The conventional wisdom is that there's no solution that would allow the lights' flush-mount profile to remain intact.
The bulbous, tumor-like appearance of the OEM LED tail lights provides the protrusion required for proper functioning of the BSM modules. They stick out because they have to do so.
The shimming of the modules in the Oracle lights is at best a periodically functioning patch.
The angle of the BSM can be affected by certain conditions such as a lifted or altered ride height. This can be mitigated by using 3mm foam tape shims in the lower portion of the sensor cavity. Think about using a small square tab of foam tape in each lower corner. This should adjust the angle that the sensor reads. If you need help with this, you can contact our technical support team. I am on my second set. Mine lasted almost 2 years to the day I think. With the new set, I used plastidip to seal the backside as best I could. I love the lights but if these ones only last 2 years, I am done with them.
I should mention Oracle gave me a pretty good deal on the second set after I reached out here.
I pre ordered my tail lights from Oracle. Twice before I’ve had to get a replacement light. Now my right side rear isn’t working right again. This really sucks. I paid a lot for these lights, I love how they look, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the reverse lights but if they keep failing I don’t see how I can keep them on my Jeep. I’ve been looking at ones from MetalCloak and Combat Offroad. Does anybody have any experience with either of these ? Or do you know of any other good ones ? I really don’t want to put those hideous stock tail lights back on, but I also don’t want a fix-it ticket. I am gonna reach out to Oracle AGAIN, just to see if they have had more problems like mine or if they have a real fix, not just another light that’s gonna fail again.I am on my second set. I too was an early adopter, buying the lights during the November 2021 pre-sale. They were received during the inaugural shipments in early Jan. 2022. Like you, I've had to replace one light recently (the right side). Fair credit to Oracle for providing a one-time, out-of-warranty free replacement. Man, mine died and I didn't get an out of warranty replacement. Just a discount on a new set.I too was an early adopter, buying the lights during the November 2021 pre-sale. That said, if or when a second failure occurs, I'll bin both of the flush-mounts without hesitation and reinstall the OEM tail lights. I do have some high-zoot LED bulbs for them that improve both the brake light and the reverse light illumination. While they're not as bright as the reverse lighting on the Oracles, it's plainly more important to have something that works than it is to have a few more lumens to play with.
Best of luck with the resolution process.
