Wow, pretty loose motor w/ those specs ? Do you have the specs handy??
That is the typical spec for just about every engine these days. Most burn oil. The 3.6 does not.

If you offroad you will use loads of oil. The PCV system gulps it down on inclines.
Just check it more often.

Did you check the oil level after you changed it? Reason is my 2018 showed 3/4 of a qt low on the dipstick after I put in 5 qts. My 2022 is dead on.

The 3.6 upgrade in our JLs has baffles in the engine that keep the oil from draining to the pan quickly, due to ESS. Wait about 20 minutes after you pour the oil to check the dipstick.

I believe this is one of the biggest problems when it comes to overfilling. Especially when draining the engine hot. This engine really needs about 20 minutes to fully drain, longer if the oil is not hot.

My dad taught me to let the oil drain overnight and fill it up in the morning. It helps get as much of that dirty oil out of the system as possible.
