So I just finished turning off my horn honk when I lock/unlock the doors. My tires won't be in for awhile, so what other neat little things can I do to/for my Sport S while waiting on them? And can I just leave the vgate iCar thing in all the time or should I disconnect it and plug those wires back into the SGW?

I had a Bluetooth OBD adapter that kept waking the Jeep up and would KILLthe battery in about a week.

I would never leave the BT adapter plugged in, not sure how the Jscan works but guessing you make your changes then you can unplug everything

Thanks! I have piddled around with mine. It will kill the ESS but they can't get the instrument warning light to stay off. Have still patiently waiting on my tires to try that.

I don’t hear many here that use JSCAN, seems a tad more than Tazer as far as user goes, like turning off TPMS, it has you turning off like (4) things but the Tazer just has one thing and that is on/off

The Tazer cost $300+ which was a little over my budget.

You're right that jscan is a little more complicated to use. It's seems to require more of a comfort with technology.

The other products for $200+ are more polished.

For me, techy products are a big plus!

I think you can turn off the horn honk from the standard Jeep menus Settings>Doors/Locks.

So far I have just adjusted tire size and the psi when the TPMS alert comes on with JSCAN.

Jscan cost $51

$22 jscan app
$12 obd2 Bluetooth
$17 security bypass
I was looking to get either the Tazer Lite or Jscan, you are correct the Tazer even the lite version is pretty costly compared to doing this

Jscan app $22

BT Module $29.99

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XGB4873/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_rzM0FbX16YSH0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

BT adapter cable $$24.99

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082PTBZ6K/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_7CM0FbBYXRDVT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

So it would be about $80 with tax from Amazon, like less than 1/2 the cost of a Tazer lite and do a lot more, for me the only thing I even messed with when I had my original tazer was tire size, TPMS limits and ESS but then I had my Tazer fail and it got replaced under warranty but by the time it was all settled it had been out of my Jeep for a month or so and I figured I would try to run without it and see and I honestly never missed it so I sold off the new one but recently I started having issues with my TPMS sensors and figured I would just turn it off and be done worrying over it and go back old schoOl with a tire gage which I always carry

The OBD adapter can influence some of the features that are available in JScan.
