How can I permanently disable the Auto Start/Stop function with JScan? I've already set both items to deactivated in the menu, but it still doesn't work - what am I doing wrong?

Greetings René

JScan is good for many things and unfortunately start/stop isn’t one of them. Either use the Tazer or get a start/stop eliminator.

I've read about that too, but why doesn't the programming work?

My guess.. If you read through the supplied programmer instructions; probably says in there somewhere "not responcible for anything"

So the short answer is it doesn't have to... Just a theory?

This will work but I am pretty sure that disconnecting one of these switches will result in the "Avengers" error/warning light. If you really want to get a start/stop eliminator that remembers last state when you turn the engine off, I have and would recommend www.smartstopstart.com

If you reach out to Steve(forum member) @SmartStopStart.com he will probably come through with a discount for you. Easy to install and cheaper than a Tazer.

You mean those pretty Christmas lights on the dash? I thought it was like pinball; the more lights the higher the score. ?

I always thought "check engine" meant stomp on it to see if its runnin' right.
