Can someone guide me here, I don’t have much luck in lighting forum.
I watched a bunch of bumper replacement videos but something was different on my jeep or I missed something. Most of those videos were early JLs, so maybe they changed something.
For reference I have an early 21 JLU sport Altitude, it came with those air damn things that extend off bumper. I’m removing bumper but salvaging fog light harness.
Normally when removing the bumper there is a disconnect needed on one side of the bumper that connects the electric to the fog lights. My jeep has a connection on both sides. However, disconnecting the passenger side isn’t enough. There is a second connection to the bumper, I can’t tell if that’s just a clip I can pull out or if it’s wired and I need to do something.
the first picture shows the wiring from jeep to the connector I pulled and the, new to me, connection to bumper. The second picture is closer view of connection to bumper that I hope is a clip.
thanks.
