Looking for some help.

I have a JL SAHARA with 35” tires
TOYO Open Country A/T II XTREME (35X12.50RTLT).
Added Rough Country spacer for the tailgate.

Now the spare tire does not come in contact with the 2 factory installed bumper stops. I have not been able to find any for the JL.

Any support would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Here is what I am looking to replace. The bumper stop is lower center of the pic.

If anyone has examples of this and can provide examples that would be great.

I used the rubber things that go on the bottom of chair legs from lowes. Worked really well, and only cost a few dollars.

reach out to @melendez69 , he’s the one that gave me the idea when I had the same issue. I have different carrier now so not using them any more.

I leave the stock SPARE BUMPESTOP in place and use ROLL BAR PADDING CUT 1/4" longer than the NEW MEASUREMENT and ZIP TIE it in place--

Has worked great for my last 3 jeeps--all that bumpstop does is eliminate vibration !

Good luck

Some guys are using these on a 1” pvc pipe cut to length, and stick it in the factory stopper. painted black. Looks pretty good.....

These say they don’t fit the jl on amazon, but they do fit in the tailgate.

I can confirm that the Energy suspension bump stops fit on the JL. I was using them when I had the RC relocation bracket. I think I bought through quadratec.

When I needed to address this problem on my JK, I looked around my garage and found.... golf balls. Planned on getting a more permanent solution, but 20k miles later, golf balls were still there. Every time I did a tire rotation, I was reminded to get something else but never did. Didn't seem to cause any problems, and they kept the tire from moving. The guy that bought the jeep from me got 2 free golf balls.
