We went on a “4” rated trail with plans to stop and fish for a couple hours at the end of the trail. We barely started and caught up to a Toyota group, so we tagged along behind(slooowly). We got to watch while the group was struggling through various obstacles, using spotters at times, and my daughter says, “Dad, don’t you think the Toyota guys feel a little silly doing all that, and then watching your Jeep just go through the same spot with no trouble at all?”

😊 Of road is where the Jeep shines-that’s what it’s made for. They’re at best mediocre street “cars”, but out in the toolies👍

Trail conversations with Toyota people can be entertaining.

I was bumbling down this rough rock garden of a trail when a Taco appeared coming in the opposite direction, pushing its limits. Judging from how he stopped dead in his tracks right after I came into view I'm pretty sure he was thinking "oh no...".

So I turned off the trail and pretty much climbed up a wall to let him pass. The conversation as he passed me while I sat in my Jeep recliner:

Taco Guy: Damn! Is there anything a Jeep can't do??
Me: Yeah, 100 MPH! That is NOT gonna happen! But this... hell yeah! 😁
