Congrats on the 1st dirt milestone. Bitterspring is a great trail as it has some very mild optional obstacles in the beginning, along with terrain/view changes, a couple of decent hill climbs as well. all with very low risk.

The wash at the end is always a great ending for the day.

I run a local off road group and here is one of the day vids from there as well (was with my previous rig, the yellow JLURD):

Yeah, you'd be surprised at how capable a stock rig is. But yes, I don't bring people on trails they or their rig is not ready for.

The red bronco and the toyota pu truck looked like they were really struggling, wow!

Actually they weren't, I try to teach everyone in my group to just crawl, just fast or slow enough to make it through safely. We rarely do anything that requires a full send, a mild bump/momentum at best. Basically try to show everyone to just let the rig do the work.

Bitterspring is one of a few trails around Vegas that is newbie and stock friendly. Even with the optional hills/obstacles, most stock rigs have no issues.

Congrats on your first run! Saturday night I took a friend out to Lava Butte Loop with her fairly stock JLUR. I don't get to go out as often as I would like due to work and other things that I do, I try to when I get the chance, especially evening runs on the weekends.

Oh ok, now I understand. Thank you for taking the time to explain that for me, I appreciate that. It was cool to see all the different types of vehicles in there. I thought the pick up truck may have been struggling because of the lighter weight in the rear. The FJ cruiser seemed to make it look easier. Very good. 👍

Nice! I work out at the lake and spend a lot of time out in BC at the range as an instructor. I drive my JT daily, and the JLU I just picked up for the wife.

It is kind of weird that I have met more locals on here than I have on the Gladiator site.
