Wow, that's some determination right there! Thought I took a long time to do it. lol

So did you manage to do that without removing the PDC / fuse box? Can't believe you squeezed that big ol' harness through that tiny little nipple...
Yup, I put that harness through hell. I started to try and pull the fuse box but then gave up on that idea. I hadn’t seen the recent post about the dual battery install yet so I didn’t realize there would guides and what not on YouTube. Even then, it seemed like it would be complicated with connections everywhere.

I'm looking at LP4/6/9's as my next upgrade. Do you find you need to flip them from low to high?

I was assuming even on low they are a "way too bright for the street" so was planning on wiring up high only. Any reason to go the same route you did?
I honestly haven’t been in a scenario yet where I’ve needed them. But no, the low beams just light up everything. The high beams just throw the light much further. Here’s a video overview I made of them.

Well, just watched the fuse box removal. Wish I would have gone that route. Lol

So just so anyone wants to know, make sure you get the adaptor, elbow adaptor, and hose before starting to install. Got to that point in my install and looked through my boxes for the parts and found out they come separate.
I second this! I ordered ARB parts, but I couldn't find the exact parts in stock and thought I could exchange some of the adapters. Turns out not for the adapters coming out of the manifold! I had a 1/4 to NIC4 elbow instead of a 1/4 to NIC reducers and then an elbow (one part to accomplish what they used two parts for). It turned out that you need the extra length of running both parts to get the hose in the right location to route out of the compressor. 1/2 inch did matter...

So I leave on Wednesday for Moab, and I didn't have time to get the correct parts in. So out came roto-zip, and I trimmed off the manifold cover to route the hose out on top instead of between the gap on the bottom. No one can see it, so no big deal.

Also - the power cable is absolutely stretched to the max to route from the battery, under the car, and up through the drain plug by the manifold. I didn't have an extra inch of power cable left! I considered routing it through the firewall, but with this routing, you don't have to disassemble anything and the wire is protected and routed between the frame and body along with another factory cable.

The install was a total PIA, and it took me 6 hours. But I think it was worth it, as it's the cleanest and most protected install. I may add the capability to attach all four tires at once later, but I need to recover from this install first

Elbow installed coming out the top instead of between the compressors on the bottom:

Routing the power wire, it helped to remove this rock guard to thread the power cable to the drain plug by the manifold. It's held in place by two 10mm bolts.

Well...the header wrap failed, dry-rot. I'll be relocating the compressor.

i see that arb makes a 12v and 24v which one does everyone get ? I ordered the 12 which of course is on backorder till it snows, but, i was curious. Also, does the 12v wire up the same as the 24?

Wiring is slightly different, and needs to be matched to your vehicle's electrical system. Get the 12V.

where are you ordering from?
Morris 4x4. I got a discount code from them, so i ordered the end of August. Couple weeks later, it was back ordered until this month. Last week they say that ARB says it wont be available till December now. I ordered the underseat bracket, and an air gauge from Quadratech the same time and they just came this week.

Ahh, that sucks. I had a local place order mine and I’m fairly certain they just get it from Morris4x4. Mine came with a damaged connector and a stripped bolt head on the inside manifold though. Didn’t feel like waiting on ARB so I just sourced the bolt from Lowe’s and found the connector on eBay.

Amazon or CE Auto supply sells that connect. Metri-pak 6 position.

what is this connection? looks like something that I have been looking for.
It’s an adapter and an elbow. The parts (and part numbers) are listed in the install instructions for the ARB under seat bracket. Seems it’s the only combo that works for making the hose exit through that location. I sourced both from Northridge 4x4.
