Just wondering...
I ordered these on New Years Eve with an estimated shipping date of 5-7 days.
It has been nearly a month and nothing has shipped. I've e-mailed and called Morimoto CS several times, each ending with the customary "I'll reach out to our warehouse manager and get back to you," with no response, X3.

I'm wondering if anyone else has ordered around that time and if you've received your order? I know Atlanta has had some weather, and I don't want to be that guy, but this is my first time dealing with this company and at present, not sure what to think.

Thoughts?
TIA, JBC

Still waiting, WHAT! 😯
My gosh, I'm liable to be dead and gone by the time you get those.
They’re probably hoping I will be, so they don’t have to come up with more excuses. 🤨
for my patience they are throwing in free lug nuts…. uhh, I had to buy them when the wheels were mounted because my high dollar McGard acorn lugs and locks wouldn’t work and needed splines…. I wasn’t advised

I know the feeling. I sent a shotgun to a highly regarded gunsmith to be restocked and generally restored. That was almost 4 years ago.

If it's any consolation, I actually ordered some LED lights from the Alibaba app, which is basically straight from the manufacturer in China. I ordered them on I believe it was January 7th, and they just hit the Shenzhen port on The 19th, and then the boat left the shore on the 23rd I think it was. Something like that. Either way 7 days at sea, and then probably another two or three weeks sitting in the California shipping yard waiting for customs to look at the box, before it'll start heading my way for real. Alibaba is guessing February 27th, but I've had stuff get stuck in customs for like 2 months before.

If It's being shipped to you from China, on average I usually expect one month if by plane, 2 to 4 months if by boat. But it also depends because a lot of these manufacturers who don't get a whole ton of orders, they make them upon receiving the order, so if you're dealing with a company that's manufacturing them before they ship them to you, that might even be a one to six month lead time depending on whether they're going to wait for a bunch of orders coming in before they make the product.

Realistically it's anybody's guess, but I wouldn't Start getting worried until it's been 2 months and you're still getting the same answer. 🤷‍♂️

Just my personal experience with things coming in from China.

Best of luck and don't be too worried.

Weird, I'm in the same boat for almost exactly the same time period. It was my grandfathers single-shot shotgun. Get it cleaned and prettied up a bit and a new stock. Crickets...

Circa 1980, I picked up a fairly rough LC Smith, had it at a local shop that did good work but was notoriously slow. The shop closed and empty overnight with no notice to customers. Owner disappeared, a couple years later I heard he was selling cars somewhere, I didn’t pursue it further since the shotgun was cheap due to condition and not worth the effort.

Yeah this one is a LC Smith 20ga Trap Grade 32" bbls ejector on a lightweight frame. Pretty special gun.

I presume you've retained proof of your good faith efforts to communicate with the negligent gunsmith, so...Report the weapon to the relevant local authority as stolen.

Turn the screw, sit back and see what happens.
