For your Baja designs or a different brand?
The covers for the LP6. The light bar in the bumper is a different story. I was kind of stuck with Rigid because it was designed around their 20" curved bar. BD doesn't offer curved in something that small. But I would say its worth covering them if not in use. The Rigid light bar already has a chip and crack on the lens to say the least. I haven't needed to replace lens on my LP6, but I have replaced them on other BD lights to switch to amber, they do make it easy to self service.

Got it. I’ll look into the covers. Maybe just keep them in the trunk in case I get hassled. What about the smaller ditch lights?

Just keep it in mind for consideration. Getting hassled by LE is unpredictable. I've been popped for window tint and mud flaps quite a bit before while they ignore the fact I am missing front plates and not having my off road lights covered on both of my off road vehicles. I guess it's about what mood they're in. As far as your ditch lights, up to you my friend. The rate in which we go through windshields, there is a potential for lens damage but very minimal. I see the covers as non essential, but a good to have if you want to dish out more money. I always generally keep my forward facing ones covered but that's what I personally prefer.

I decided on the ambers for ditch lights. Being in CA are you worried about leaving them uncovered or nothing to fuss over?
No, been pulled over twice by CHP for speed, 392 is not going to help. I have a 15" and 30" bar on the bumper and 4 cubes on a roof rack. Not even a mention, no front plate either. No tickets, just a warning.

Where do you see it not being compatible? I thought it would work with all JL models. Nice. Tutle Click?
Just what I have read here. The 392 has a taller hood and the distance from top bolts to side bolts are greater.

Interesting. I wonder how I could confirm this.

That will suck if it doesn’t fit. Maybe ask Jeep chat or call Mopar?

I will see if I can swing by the Irvine dealer and take some measurements. I think they have a Mohave truck and I doubt they will sell the 392 today at 20k over.

Received my lights. Just need to get my Jeep now haha. Hey does anyone know if there will be SAG adding these lights to the front of the jeep along with the winch? The lights are pretty heavy but I know the winch weighs more. I understand there’s some beefed up suspension and springs on the 392.

Again, congrats on the 392!! Now for a reality check...Sag? We both know (and probably your wife as well) it will not be long before you are looking at lifts and at least 37's :)

Dude that would be awesome. Thank you so much. I’ll be in Newport tonight eating at Trenta. So bomb. You got to try it if you haven’t already.

Haha! So so true. The good news is my wife is the one who got me into jeeps and she loves camping. Couldn’t ask for anything more. I’m already deciding between my 37 inch tires. Regardless I’m going to drive it two months with stock tires just to get used to it. My only problem with the lift is that they haven’t from my understanding developed anything for the weight of the Jeep yet.

Nice Wifey! As for lifts, I'm sure MetalCloak or RK could help with the spring rates and Accutune will have you weigh your rig and custom tune Fox or King shocks for both your rig and the way you plan to use it.

Yes she is! Blessed is the only word that keeps coming to my mind. Sweet. Should I just go to a trusted local 4WD mechanic/shop?

If you are not a DIY guy, the operative word is trusted and competent. Not many shops do both MC & RK, maybe local 4x4 clubs in your area could offer some shop recommendations. Then visit a couple and go with the one your 'gut' tells you is best for you...I you are like me, that little feeling is right far more often than not.
