Hello I am trying to decide what lighting setup to go with for my 392. The lighting will be primarily used for getting to campsites or boondocking locations late at night. On road trips, my wife and I always say we are getting to camp before the sun sets, but all too many times we’re on the trail when it’s pitch dark. I don’t want to go overkill, just more than the standard led lighting system from the factory.

I was thinking of this setup below. Not sure if I need both or just one of these options. Should I do an amber or stick to bright wight for all of them? Go with Mopar or Baja designs for the lights? Thanks in advanced.

Received my lights. Just need to get my Jeep now haha. Hey does anyone know if there will be SAG adding these lights to the front of the jeep along with the winch? The lights are pretty heavy but I know the winch weighs more. I understand there’s some beefed up suspension and springs on the 392.

Someone reported the Warn winch and mount dropped their front 1". I also have the 12S, Maximus 3 mount, Maximus classic bar, and the BD lights ready to install. I think I will be adding about 115lb's to the bumper. Today I sat my 220 fat ass on one and it looked like it dropped about 3/4". I didnt have a tape at the dealer to measure, did it while the sales rep went for the keys.

Haha that’s funny. Was this a 392 or regular rubicon? I hate the way it looks when it’s sagging in the front. I drove past a Rubicon JL today that had a winch upfront and it was sagging pretty bad. I just didn’t like the look.

Almost, I got a set of LP6's and LP4's, both combos in white for the front bumper. Waiting on a set of LP4 white spots, on backorder for the A pillar. I mat get the amber fog kit to replace the stocks in the factory bumper. I have some scrap carbon fiber I am going to cut to block the inside side lights on the LP4 spots to reduce light cast on the hood.

It was a 392 that just hit the lot in Irvine. I too will be looking for a way to level it out if its at all noticeable.
Ps. I think the A Pillar mounts you posted will not fit the 392. Check them out.

Where do you see it not being compatible? I thought it would work with all JL models. Nice. Tutle Click?

I decided on the ambers for ditch lights. Being in CA are you worried about leaving them uncovered or nothing to fuss over?

Are you talking about the legality of not having off road lights covered?

Yeah I know it’s technically not legal to run without them covered but if they are off does anyone actually get stopped?

I haven't been hit yet. Granted It's hardly on the road (10k miles). Long story short, no I haven't been stopped for it yet. I did order the covers for it that was just released mainly because I rather not replace a lens unless I have to, and possibly one less reason for CHP to pull me over.

For your Baja designs or a different brand?
