Hi Marshall,

I see no indication of a rear section being made available

Hi Benny @AllMoparParts.com,

Sorry for ā€žhijackingā€œ this thread, but Iā€˜ve been sneaking around the flooring for quite some time now and thought I take up the chance to ask you: Do you offer any shipping options to Germany? In all Mopar shops that I have tried I cannot complete the order with a shipping address in Germany, and while Quadratec does offer shipment to Germany, they charge over a thousand dollars for shipping, which is ridiculous…

It would be great if you could help!

Best regards,

Michael

You could try reaching out to Armorlite directly, as well. Though I imagine they're going to have similar shipping costs. It's not that these are heavy, it's that they're big/bulky, which is truly what matters with international shipping, if you don't have much experience. Planes only have so much physical space for cargo/freight, so a bigger box is going to cost more than a smaller box, and these are big boxes.

Hi @rcadden,

Thanks for your reply. According to their website, Armorlite does not even ship to Canada, so I doubt theyā€˜ll ship to Europe (although I did not bother asking).

I totally understand that shipping bulky items long-distance is expensive, and I have already ordered many parts in the U.S., including a new deck for my soft top, Mopar floor mats (the rugged, rubber version, whatever they are called) and a Squadbox, so I do know some prices, but over a thousand dollars…? How bulky can the flooring be? Itā€˜s separate parts and it can be rolled up to some extent, or am I wrong? Does anyone here know the shipping dimensions? Or has a picture of the flooring still boxed?

Letā€˜s wait and see what Benny says…

I don't have a picture of it in the box, but the box for a two door is so large that it barely fit in my cargo area with the rear seat out. I had to put it on an angle going from from behind the driver's seat towards the tailgate hinge to make it fit. If I had to guess, I would say about 1.2 meters long and about .5 meters tall (that's about 4ft long and 18in tall in freedom units for everyone else).

My kit had the cargo mat, front floors, and rear floors, but did not include the "Cargo Wheelhouse Covers." Not sure if they would fit in the same box, or it would require an additional box had I gotten it all at once.

It's definitely worth it, though. Interior is noticeably quieter even backing out of the driveway, and with the cold weather and snow in Michigan right now, it's much easier to regulate the interior temperature.

I don't have a photo of the box, unfortunately, but you are wrong on the idea that they can be rolled up. Below is a picture of the wheelhouse cover parts - they're nearly an inch thick, and extremely sturdy, less flexible than the rubber mats that you're thinking of. They're molded to the various curves/bulges of the interior.

You can also look through the Armorlite thread to see photos: Armorlite New Product Update Info: JLU 4Door Cargo | Page 9 | Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU) -- Rubicon, 4xe, 392, Sahara, Sport - JLwranglerforums.com

UPDATE: here's the photo I was looking for. Top piece is the Armorlite, bottom one is the factory carpet. It's thick.

You can also check out their install video to get an idea as to how rigid the pieces are:

I installed the Mopar Heavy Duty Vinyl Flooring. Benny from @AllMoparParts.com helped me out a ton with ordering. I can’t recommend him more.

Unfortunately, Jeep engineering is still working on drafting the installation instruction so until that happens, there are none.

Good news, though, is that this is basically the Armorlite flooring. So, you can use the Armorlite YouTube video and install instructions to guide you.

Install is straightforward. It does take time to remove all of the door panels. In addition, you have to do some finagling wto get the drain hole cutout to line up with the drain holes in the floor.

Afyer you take out the carpet, you’ll see how much dirt and debris gets caught under the carpet. Before installing the new flooring, I vacuumed and washed the floorboard.

Other than that, not much else to say. They are a huge upgrade from the all weather floor mats my JLU came with. The new flooring also comes with sound deadening insulation underneath which is an upgrade over the carpet which has little to none.

I’m just joining the JL group. I have a 2024 JLU RUBICON. My Jeep came with half & half flooring. Half carpet & half Mopar flooring. My 2016 JKU I did the complete Armorlite instal & loved it!! It was cleaner & quieter & really seemed to insulate better than the carpet not to mention the ease of cleaning. I can’t wait for Mopar to have a complete system ? I think the previous dealership strikes have put everyone behind. I’m still waiting on my winch bumper also since September ?ā€ā™€ -Ang

Hi Ang,

If you are referring to the cargo area as being the half with carpet, this is because, to my knowledge, Mopar has not released a cargo area heavy duty flooring. Armorlite released their heavy duty flooring for the cargo area last year. In fact, I still have it in a box ready to install (need to get on that). If your rear passenger area is carpet, I am not sure why that would be. The moapr kit comes with front and rear flooring.

Hi Michael,
We ship internationally but for something like this I would imagine costs would exceed $1,000. It may be best to look for a freight forwarder.

How is it holding up after several months especially through winter and driver side that gets the most use, Any signs of excessive wear?

Hi I recently installed the flooring system- is the driver side supposed to be short or did I receive a defective item?
