And done! I did a quick test drive and it may be placebo effect, but it does seem quieter inside. It turned out really nice and am happy with the results.

For those interested here are links to the Kilmat and the installation rollers:

Hi! Quick question, on your flooring, did you use the carpet clips off the original carpet? It looks so much better than a hole with a pin in it. And obviously more secure.

Nice install.
How is the traction of the floor compared to before? Slippery when wet?
Not as slippery as the OEM mats were. It can be somewhat slippery, but it has been fine in the snow and slush.

Hi, I'm new to all this and hoping you can give some advice - I'm prepping to remove my front seats out of my 2019 JLUR that has ESS. I've read I need to disconnect the batteries before pulling them out. I'll be putting in some sound deadening/heat insulation material (soundskins), installing a gmrs radio and putting in a wiring harness for another modification.

1. Confirming that yes, I need to disconnect the batteries prior to removing the front seats. (Following the below instructions I found on another thread)

2. Will I cause any issues with the airbags/ESS/etc from disconnecting everything?

Thanks :)

I did not disconnect my batteries, I only disconnected the wiring under the seats and the front door harnesses to make the trim easier to remove.

I had zero electrical issues afterwards.

Someone referenced this post to me recently and I wanted to address a few things incase someone is stumbling on this for the first time.

1. A sound deadener like killmat or dynamat does NOT require a blanket application. It is not an absorber, but a deadener, so it just needs to be on panels that have the most resonance to stop sound transfer. So basically if you knock on the panel and it sounds tinny, put some in the middle of that, if its a brace area and its solid, won't do much in that spot.

2. Do not put the deadener under and close to the trim and console, MOST IMPORTANT leave about 1-2" around the drain plugs. Give trim, console, plugs and seat mounts some room

3. The grommets mentioned in this thread that you once needed to remove from old carpet, we now install those for you on the Armorlite.

Thanks for resurrecting this post. I have been considering this project (full kit, front to back) for my ‘24 Sahara for sometime now.

I understand the carpet clips are now on the Armorlite flooring. That’s helpful.

What other clips are prone to snapping in the removal of the seats and carpet prior to installation of the AL? The OP ref’ed clips in the passenger side wiring trough snapping.

My plan is to order the AL, killmat/roller and any and all types of clips that have potential of snapping and return any unopened boxes of clips I don’t replace.

Could someone post clip types and links for those here that could assist me for future reference of this project?

Thank you again for posting your findings and AL for updating this post, @CarbonSteel @Armorlite Kail
