I installed the Mopar Heavy Duty Vinyl Flooring. Benny from @AllMoparParts.com helped me out a ton with ordering. I can’t recommend him more.

Unfortunately, Jeep engineering is still working on drafting the installation instruction so until that happens, there are none.

Good news, though, is that this is basically the Armorlite flooring. So, you can use the Armorlite YouTube video and install instructions to guide you.

Install is straightforward. It does take time to remove all of the door panels. In addition, you have to do some finagling wto get the drain hole cutout to line up with the drain holes in the floor.

Afyer you take out the carpet, you’ll see how much dirt and debris gets caught under the carpet. Before installing the new flooring, I vacuumed and washed the floorboard.

Other than that, not much else to say. They are a huge upgrade from the all weather floor mats my JLU came with. The new flooring also comes with sound deadening insulation underneath which is an upgrade over the carpet which has little to none.

Benny @AllMoparParts.com is the best! He’s helped me out multiple times.

Looks good in there. I can’t understand why it’s taken Jeep so long to make this available.

Just for comparison sake, what does the Mopar kit run compared to GoArmorLite?

None. I did not take pre install pictures of how thick it is, but it has a ton more insulation/sound deadening material underneath compared to the carpet.

Armorlite is releasing the cargo area flooring in a few weeks. Who knows when, if ever, Mopar, will be doing the same.

I will be buying the Armorlite one when available. I should note that (1) if you want the Mopar flooring, it’s a special order item that you have to wait about a month to get delivered so if you’re waiting for the Armorlite flooring cargo release to pair with this, be aware of the order timeline (i.e. you may want to order the Mopar flooring now so you have it to install with the Armorlite), and (2) waiting until you have the full set probably won’t save you a ton of time on the install. The front/rear seating area flooring does not require removal of the rear seats or anything to do with them. Front seats, yes. Just like the rear cargo area will require rear seat bolt removal but not front seat. I do understand wanting to wait for the whole set though.

I went 4 years with no carpet the Tan @Armorlite Kail is a nice upgrade. As for noise I cant speak to that yet. It has not rained for awhile here so the doors have been off for over 5 weekS, but I can tell a big difference in radiant heat from the floor.

As for install I was stubborn.. it is possible to install the flooring without removing seats. I did have the flooring out in the sun for awhile to soften it up.

Its really an OCD thing that I want the entire set or nothing. Plus, I think Ill get some Sound Assassin or the like for sound deadening when I get it.

I'm running carpet, but let me tell you, if you pull the trigger on Sound Assassin (or similar), you will NOT regret it!
Major difference! ?

Do you have any pictures of the tan flooring in your Wrangler? My interior is tan and I am thinking their tan flooring would look nice while also lessening how hot it feels inside.

Mopar is just using Armorlite from what I understood.
I read that somewhere. That’s why I was curious about the pricing.

Not a great shot its still dirty from the beach trip. It is a significant upgrade and less heat! Before it was uncomfortable barefoot with just factory all weather mats and no carpet. I wish I had your tan interior unfortunately not an option in 18.
