Just got done with my install today . I didn't take the time to read all the posts but I am thankful for all of those who did post in mentioned fuses. I reprogrammed with the Tazer. Everything came up on the screen, but the buttons would not light up. And I checked under the hood. I found that the inline 5 amp fuse with the kit had blown. Most likely this happened during me installing because as you know, unless you disconnect the auxiliary 12-volt battery you still have power. So I think I must have crossed some wires at some point in blown it.

All good now!

Hoping to see a reply on this as well...
I fixed it by re-setting the PINS behind the actual AUX switch Panel. Mine were loose.

I have the same ESS problem after having the dealership do the flash to add the aux switches. Reading in other forums and comments on the youtube video people said that the secondary auxiliary battery was fried and had to be replaced others said it was a bad connection with the orange wire under the kick panel. I had read all that before I did my installation so I connected the orange wire without using the connector that was provided in the kit. I need to double check it but I'm guessing its something the dealership may have to fix.

Are you taking about the auto start stop? I never got that error from this install, but it would pop on after driving awhile until i would do a hard restart.

Personally i never liked it and permanently keep it off with tazer. I took it to the dealership to figure out the error and they said they could not replicate it all that garbage. I will say when I unplugged that harness by the door and finally got the orange pin connected correctly it was like a Christmas display on my Dash! I had locker warnings you name it sway bar disconnect warnings everything popped up I thought I ruined something but after I shut it down and started it up again everything went away

I ended up with both my orange wires weren’t fully seated.

when I fixed the kick panel, I agree my entire system freaked out. It took a full reboot(taser) to get all functionality back, it took 2 days for my backup assist lines to come back(strange)....

...-and of course the six orange wire fix was less eventful.

now to solve my 3 wire to 4 wire halo light problem( bought take offs, so no Mopar harness)

Hello Everyone...

Seems as though I’ve ran into similar issues as many of you have and looking for some guidance...

Aux Switch install - check
Dealer reflash - check
Power at switches - check
Power at the pesky orange wire in the kick panel - check
5 amp in line fuse replaced - check
Power at relays under the hood on the driver’s side - check
checked and rechecked ground - check

but, no power at aux wires in the kick panel nor does the lights on the switches themselves light up.

been trying to do my best to read through all the forums on this install but still coming up short.

any guidance is appreciate

U have power at the switches, shouldn't the lights come on? I thought, and in my case, when the lights didn't come on there was no power. How are you determining power to the switches?

Also, the dealer flashed it for you without checking to see if it worked? I had mine first working with tazerjl, but later asked the dealer to add code when other work was being done. You are confident the "reflash" was done and how do I know? Do the switches show on your uconnect? Given mine showed on screen when my switches were not working due to the fuse, so that may not be a helpful indicator

With a light tester... unplugged it from the back, and checked for power of each wire in the plug. I have power at each, but when checking the aux wires in the kick panel... no power...almost assumed it may require another ‘reflash’.

Sorry I can't be more help. Maybe defective switches, but probably just a pain in the butt computer issue.

I assume no power to aux wires under hood too?

Haven’t checked, but assumed so.
And no need to be sorry, I appreciate your replies... sometimes that helps jar the brain into thinking of a solution.

and yea, would have been nice if the dealer checked their work... but I take that blame for not be fully knowledgeable of this install until reading the issues everyone has encountered.
