No matter what side you’re on, this has been one of the most fun threads in a while. Just in case you’re wondering, ( right side rubicon, wrong side Moab ) just wanted clear that up for any newcomers out there.

Some of us don't need dual locking diffs and sway bar disconnects (especially in Florida where there is not even a small hill). It's a good balance between the Rubi and the Sahara. The MOAB is a Saharacon. I think mine is bad ass.

I think they missed an opportunity with the Dragon Edition. They should have based if off of a Rubicon with 35 inch tires, a lift, and a Hemi.

Actually, for any other posts that mention a special edition you can just paste this in:

I think they missed an opportunity with the ________ Edition. They should have based if off of a Rubicon with 35 inch tires, a lift, and a Hemi.

OMG what if they put a Hellcat in the Sahara.

Just a base Sahara with a Hellcat and Remote Proximity Entry. And like fancy seats.

New guy here. I posted a question about LED color temps in the lighting section that got immediate off track on to Rubi vs. MOAB. So when I configure all three models I've been looking at (initially started thinking I'd get the Sahara) it comes out like this:
Sahara: $53,740
MOAB: $53,985
Rubi: $55,690

For the things I'm looking for, it seems the MOAB is a far better deal than the optioning out the Sahara as it has some extra thing that I really like... like the hood for instance and bumpers. The Rubi is more, but I'm not really sure what I'm getting for that extra $ means a whole lot to me. Again, I'm not an expert so if I'm just missing the boat here, let me know. This vehicle has gotta be wife approved with heated seats and all the nice stuff, so that has to be a consideration. We'll be taking it camping once in awhile pulling my Hobi Kayaks, taking long trips, and also putzing around town. I just keep thinking MOAB ticks all the boxes for me.

You think the Moab is right for you but you're wrong. It doesn't have lockers. You can't even drive on a gravel driveway without lockers. You should get the Rubicon.

You should be fine with the Moab based on your intended use. They are nice Jeeps.

If you daily drive a jeep to work and back, take it out at night for a nice dinner with the wife or girlfriend, take it to the beach, road trips, trail riding, basic off-roading and is your sole vehicle then a Sahara or MOAB is VERY capable.

If you need to go climb a rock get a Rubicon.
