Did you mention that cur Laettner, and that vile frat boy team Duke?

I'm from AZ originally. Currently stationed in VA, but building a house in Surprise, AZ. I retire from the Navy in just under 5 years. I will be in and out of the area until then lol.

That's the main reason I have not ordered/bought my Jeep yet. I need to close on the house in AZ, and finish deployment lol.... The waiting sucks.
Surprise was my first city I lived in when I moved to AZ. You’ll be in the outskirts, perfect for a Jeep!

It looks like this love fest has settled a bit. It sure is nice to see that some of the MOAB's have stood resilient.

Now I could be wrong, but from what it looked like, some true to life bonds were created out of this thread. I think that says something about Jeep owners whether Sport, Sahara, or Rubicon. Now I don't talk for all, but I do believe most Rubicon owners would let you MOAB's tie off on their rig anytime. Especially since we know that we will be there all day if we don't

Yeah those Moab pics are ni

I think you missed the part about this all being a joke my friend. Of course I don’t care who does what with their Jeeps. Being an X owner, I’m just joining the fight with the Moabs.
Sorry...at the beginning people were actually serious. :)

Defender? Bloody hell, chap, I sprayed my bangers and mash all over the computer screen. Jeeps are the way.

By the way, I’m not British. You are the second person who has thought that. I don’t think the “UK” in my screen name means what y’all thinks it means. ;)
I thought he was kidding. I'm having trouble keeping up...just like the comment about Moabs not being able to run in Moab. I know for a fact you can run most of the easier trails in Moab in an unmodified Moab/Sport/Sahara. Now, if you start talking optional obstacles....then that gets limited, but most stuff in Moab has a bypass....so again, thought that commentary was a joke.

UK...University of Kentucky (Cats is the hint).

***EDIT*** I see the joking has been sorted out.

“...cheap aftermarket crap” ? Didn’t you say you got your doors on Amazon for $50?

“Choose not to be a poser? What in the world... You’re driving a Jeep with black rubicon wheels.... with the name of a trail you can’t run on plastered on the hood. What are we talking about here? Look at your light set up... you got lights first! You define mall crawler. Just take it.
the doors were $500... The rest your right about. Good morning everyone. Seems you were all up late last night.

On a serious note, do any of you that bought a Moab wish you’d bought a rubicon, and be honest I won’t judge, just curious. I bought a Sahara originally it had a Dana 44 with lsd in rear and I thought it would work for me, but when I discovered in some situations I found myself in lockers would have been a lot safer, by not having to accelerate to get wheel spin to transfer torque. So I was just going to buy after market lockers, but that was going to be quite expensive, the way I wanted to set it up. So I sold it to friend of mine and bought rubicon. However, just being able to use lockers in 4 lo was unacceptable also. So I wired lockers to aux switches and now can use them anytime and travel at any speed. So my point is I was one of those people that wished I’d bought something different.

not at all. I stated before that I went to buy a rubicon and they had a Moab on the lot and I choose that instead. I traded in a ram 2500 Powerwagon with dual diff lockers and a sway bar disconnect for the jeep. The only time I used the lockers was to see how they engage. When hurricane Irma came and flooded my neighborhood I had the truck on 4x4 and had to climb over downed trees and never needed to disconnect the sway bars or lock the axles. BTW my pool rose 4 feet off the ground. totally destroyed my pool and patio deck, I had moved to that area in less then a month before. Watch this to see the entire story

This definitely turned into something I didn't expect, but kind of loving it lol. A lot of funny stuff, and I appreciate the fact that I got an answer.

Honestly my opinion is if the MOAB was offered as a 2 door, with 4:10 or 3:73 even, I'd probably look at one. Yeah, I am gonna go RUBI because of what I want to get is available in that line vs the others. Not the sport, and not the Sahara/MOABs. Oh well. I'm just excited about getting a Jeep Wrangler period!

Now...if deployment would just hurry up and finish lol.....
So basically you just described a 2 Door Rubicon. 4.10 Axles, and with that you have another engine available as an option.

BTW, hope your deployment finishes out smoothly, keep your head down.

If I had the money for a Power Wagon, I would have gotten that....

Glad you got through the Hurricane as well.
