Missing rear wiper control on 2023 JLU

I hope they gave you the front hardtop freedom panels to go with it.

Eh, not as necessary as you'd think, depending on the area. I only use my freedom panels for like, 2 months out of the year.

Excellent. Then you are ahead of the game. BTW I think the rear washer wiper is overrated anyway. I never use mine when the hardtop is on.

Yep, it came from the factory with a hardtop. Someone swapped the hardtop onto to it. Did you buy it new?

Bought it with 3k miles used.

One more thing, if it came originally with the soft top, then you don't have the rear defroster button on the dash either for the back glass rear def. grid.

Seems you live in New Jersey, you will most likely need that rear wiper/defroster working in the winter.

I would ask the dealer to make it whole, especially if they sold this Wrangler as a hardtop, those small things are expensive, time consuming to retro, parts are also not that easy to find.

Yes it's a PTA, a wiring harness, washer bottle washer line switches and you have to insert a few wires into a harness plug if it's the same as it was on TJ's which is likely.

Coming from a 97 TJ with plastic windows, could not agree any more with you.

Weird situation. Just discovered that our Jeep is missing the control to turn on and off the rear windshield wiper. The Jeep came with the hardtop from the factory, but is missing the control on the steering wheel stock where it should be. Anyone else experience a production mishap like this???

Looks like it was a soft top optioned. They put a hard top on it later. Weird
