@Ratbert - so if the 3.6L currently fits, and if my math is correct, 3.0L<3.6L, why won't the Hurricane fit in the JLU engine bay? It has to be a twin-turbo to take up that much extra room, not just a naturally aspirated I6, right? Is there any way to turn it sideways?
@Ratbert I think we all can admit every tire is going to grab stones. The difference should be how effectively the tire can eject the stones itself without our intervention. Having stones dig into the rubber thousands of times a day will cause you to lose chunks of rubber eventually.
Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT's are fantastic. The best thing about the Coopers is they are the quietest AT tire you can buy and have a 60k mile tread life. They are excellent off-road as well. However, they are E rated only. I am also extremely pleased with my Kenda Klever AT2's. Kenda also makes a...
I think the '24 MY Gladiators are going to be hitting the lots soon. Jeep is offering 15% off MSRP on the Gladiators. Probably a sign of cratering sales, a glutton of '23 MY Gladiators sitting on lots, and the pending arrival of the 24's. I've seen some amazing deals on these, like these...
If only we could all just band together and tell all our friends and family to not buy another Jeep until the prices come down from fantasy-land! That just might work.
I'm a bit surprised, but the new Tacoma's rear hip-room compares very favorably to what we have in the JLU 4xe's. Most SUV's and mid-size pickups are inches smaller across the rear seat.
Jeep 4xe: 55.9"
Tacoma: 56.3"
Having 3 kids (10, 13, 15), that's certainly a consideration.
I've also been wondering if it's possible Jeep has been taking these crazy increases to offset the perceived loss from all the discounted pricing in the special orders we make. And really that should only affect dealer margins and not Stellantis, right? However, that would be screwing over the...
About a month ago I was talking with my online sales guy from Mall of Georgia CDJR. I bought my current Jeep from him. We were talking about the pricing and he said that Jeep was aware of the pricing issues and lowering sales.
"Of course, I don't have a crystal ball so who knows what the...
All of the maps are so out of date, as well. Then, the simple fact they expect us to pay through the nose for map updates is infuriating! The updates are already outdated by the time they get to you in the first place. There is ZERO reason for anyone with a modern cell phone to use the built-in...
