Missing rear wiper control on 2023 JLU

From the sticker it was a soft top it seems - you might not have the hose and wiring for the back window!

Unfortunately a softtop only model doest have all the wiring for the hardtop. If you special ordered this then you have a complaint. If you purchased it off lot, it’s likely a softtop only model that the dealer put a hardtop on.

Well that solves the mystery.. you have a softtop only model that the dealer has put a hardtop on.
as per the Window sticker bottom right Premium sunrider softtop.
Premium Sunrider softop Is the full softtop. It has the ability to run with o ly the front folded back. If it had the hardtop option it would specify on the window sticker.
the photo of inside back of hardtop shows no wires or hoses plugged in.

If you paid under that sticker price you got a good deal. The hardtop is an expensive option.

No it doesn’t. You have the $695 option for the sunrider SOFT top, not hard top. That would have been $895 PLUS the cost of a hard top $1800 or so. They swapped setups on you.

It came from the factory as a soft top, no hardtop. The dealer or previous owner put that hardtop on and called it good.

You're getting confused by the names. The factory premium soft top is called the "Sunrider Soft-top" but the add-on part in the front for the hardtop is called the "Sunrider for Hardtop". Your Jeep was built with the premium soft-top and the dealer (or previous owner, if used) swapped it to a hardtop with the Sunrider.

Nailed it. The sunrider is a 895.00 option ON TOP of purchasing a hardtop. Wonder who traded the setup in….

The Sunrider front and hardtop rear is not a factory option. Edit apparently it is an option now.
Base Model is vinyl softtop with optional Premium twill Sunrider or Dual tops. I have the dual top option.

I would definitely go back to the dealer and complain about the rear wiper/washer not working. If they installed the hardtop ensuring the wiper feature worked should have been part of the install.

The Sunrider front and hardtop rear is not a factory option. Base Model is vinyl softtop with optional Premium twill Sunrider or Dual tops. I have the dual top option.

Actually, that is an option that started in either 2022 or 2023. My understanding is that the Sunrider is shipped in a box and installed by the dealer, but it can be ordered with the Jeep hardtop.
