I had an RS5 and went to the JL Rubi. While I miss the shit out of the Audi, the Jeep is more practical for my current lifestyle. The Audi made me drive fast, was costly to modify, and I was constantly aware of road hazards. The Jeep is more laid back, I can beat the shit out of it, and it don't care.

This is what I’m getting at. I’m always so worried about that car because it’s so expensive.

You will always miss the BMW. You will never miss a stick in an automatic jeep, manual in jeep is a failure imo.

Had an e46 m3, twice, e335, 320, 328, etc. Miss them all, all of them manuals. but dont need them. Need the jeep.

My manual is an nv4500 in a 83 bronco.

Haul too much shit to dump the truck.
So.... a Gladiator with an AMW swap then. Convertible, V8, has the good transmission, can get it super charged, probably still isn't fast

JL Sahara. So I’m on crack if I think the stick isn’t bad? Haha
There have been reports of people going between various stock manual-based JLs and discovering that some were actually decent. Shockingly, finding a good one is apparently a possibility. Others will proclaim that the manuals are actually pretty good once you replace the majority of their guts.

It doesn't hurt to test drive an auto and a manual back to back. I was stupid when I bought mine and simply had to have a manual because "it's a manual and manuals are always better!" Don't be Ratbert.
