Welllllllll,
I honestly didn't have time to keep up with the stuff that went on at the shop and TBH there were a lot of things that just didn't sit well.
So, I'm opening my own shop. Ziggy's Offroad will be open for business starting next week, August 21.
I'll mainly focus on Jeeps but will...
You were pretty close to dead on before, and they screwed it up. With your before measurements, if you bump the front tires til the steer ahead is at zero, then your toe would have been damn near perfect. They took the toe out of it, and I'll bet it tracks with highway grooves now.
CMM and agree with the other comments about them. Yes, the price is salty, but I would spend it again if they came up missing. I like the bottom mount, top mount seems to be in my line of sight at intersections.
Not just the Jeep....
Previous Audi had rotor style wheels. It bugged the shit out of me that they were one direction on one side and the opposite direction on the other.
If I'm on the boat and one of the pop-up cleats is up from having a bumper or rope on it, I have to throttle back to idle...
Train horns and Rough Country and rock lights...oh my!!
So, I've always equated train horns with the trucks that also have "locally hated" across the windshield, but surprisingly we've done some on trucks you wouldn't expect. One in particular was a brand new Denali, triple horn set up, button...
If it were me, I would ditch the brackets and stay with the ACA's. These give you the ability to dial in your caster and to adapt if you decide to go bigger. The goal is improved drivability through increased caster and the control arms give you the ability to control that, not just get...
Due circumstances out of my control, I parted ways with my employer in January and have been challenged in the job search. For shits and giggles and to pass the time, I have been working for a local shop that does truck and Jeep mods. We do a lot of truck bed covers, lifts, lights, and side...
Another vote for CavFab. No rattles at all and, properly adjusted, closes with one finger. Lots of adjustment to move the spare in/out/up/down. Comes with license plate relocation and camera brackets. If you have a good powdercoater local, then it sounds like a no-brainer.
