I was driving on 4H cause of the snow but I want to switch it back to 2H and when I do the traction stops me from doing more of a sharper turn ( I am new so spare me ) so I’m not sure why it is still having me due more wider turns on 2H when it was not doing it before I switched to 4H .. any help

Welcome to the forum!

If you can’t turn that means 4H is still engaged.

Try disengaging it again. Best is to roll the vehicle forward at 2-3 mph, shift the transmission into neutral and push the transfer case lever into 2H.

You will get the hang of it.

In the old days to insure we were out of 4H or 4L when we switched back to 2H we would put the transmission in reverse and back up several feet, that always did the trick.
