FBO E90 335->F10 M5. Giulia Quadrifoglio -> JL 2 door 6MT. On a daily basis, I find the JL the most fun to drive.

I'm about to venture down the path of researching and buying my first ever Jeep. I've owned a 440hp Pontiac G8 GT for the past 12 years and have loved the 180k+ miles I've driven it. But I'm really intrigued about the ability to take the top/doors off and being able to do some minor off-roading.

I'm curious how many others have made the switch from the fast-car lifestyle to the Jeep lifestyle and whether or not they've regretted any part of it.
I would see what powerplants Ford is going to offer in the Bronco too.

Had a vette , and a cts V . can't help but miss that vette. But there is nothing else like a jeep. And I haven't gotten pulled in it at 160 yet. No regrets.

After chasing HP for almost 40 years switched to 4wd as I got tired of living with brittle vehicles

Still have my Trans Am. I was going to drop around 20k into it but decided to get a Jeep. I definitely made the right choice.

Had my 436 HP 08 Vett for 11 years. Always wanted one finally got it.
Moved up north and could couldn't use it in winter. With regret I sold it and now own a 2020 JL my third jeep. Happy yet again.

I was thinking about getting one of the new mid engine Vettes...but what's an old man gonna do with a sports car? I was hoping one of you would buy one and I could drop by and go for a ride.

Keep your G8 and get a new Jeep. You won’t get barely anything for trading in your G8 with that many miles. Even if you have a Jeep, you will get the itch every now and then for power. Trust me, I’ve been down that road many times. Jeeps are fun, but if you have a history of having fast cars, you’ll miss having the power.

I changed from a 350 hp Genesis Coupe to a JLUR. Kind of miss the highway driving experience, but love topless/doorless and offroad fun. Really miss the handling/no body lean going around corners. I think Rubicon suspension is intentionally tuned to be soft for rock crawling, so you may want to consider a model like a Sahara or changing shocks to get a better highway drive if you only intend to offroad occasionally. I'm thinking of getting adjustable shocks since i daily commute to be able to stiffen the ride on highway and get the best of both conditions for this vehicle.

I traded a 2009 Audi S5 against a JLUR diesel back on October. Still waiting for the Jeep to show up!

I’ve been driving a Wrangler for about 6 years and was bit by the power bug again last year. Kept my Jeep and bought a used 17 ZL1 last summer. Gotta scratch both itches.

Many times over ...sports car to a 2dr mt rubicon! once to an unlimited which just was not for me. but in every case I always felt glad to be home in the Jeep...my last is the best and hope to forego the itch of two door sports car in the future.

E90 M3 to the Jeep and couldn’t be happier. We’ll probably get another fast car at some point, but I can’t see replacing the Jeep with anything other than another Jeep.
