Nope, we have had numerous 6sp get stolen in the area. I guess the piece of shit thieves parents did something right.
I'm sure it deters 99% of the casual criminals (ie. teenagers) out there.

Unfortunately, the way these things are stolen, it isnt teenagers walking around with a $5k computer. It's not like driving a standard is some mythical journey. The vast majority of Europe is doing it.

No matter what you do, the Jeep can be put in neutral via the pull tab in the center console. Flat tow, trailer, dolly etc and it’s gone. They can figure out how to bypass whatever you do later, or just part it out and sell it off. Just get good insurance and call it a day. If they want it bad enough it will be gone.

What kind of idiot steals a car on an island?
Locals steal them for parts. The rest get put in a shipping container and sent to Asia, Africa or South America.

There is a high demand overseas from what I can gather. That's why so many are being taken in areas close to ship yards.

Thieves can just connect 2 wires to the canbus anywhere on the Jeep.
What we need is the firmware update they are giving to the Hemi Challengers.
@JeepCares tell me this is in the pipeline please.
They are probably stuck in still trying to figure out which one is the salad fork

Also seen the Taser Mini as a solution, pin number etc.
I bought a tazer mini primarily for the PIN solution. Seems like it might slow most people down but if someone really wants your Jeep they'll get it no matter what. The frustrating thing to me about the tazer is that intermittently the PIN isn't required, I'm not sure why but sometimes I jump in and it won't ask for the PIN. Also some of the other features just don't seem to work. The one that comes to my head is the turning assist where it locks up the inside rear tire, it just does not do anything at all.

With the mini I think it's one of those things that the criminal will need to know about it for them to realize it can be removed. My guess is that most won't realize what is going on and leave to find an easier target. I don't know how large the original is but the mini is quite small and is stashed up behind the dashboard easily enough so it's fairly out of sight.

I'm not overly impressed with the Tazer at the moment due to the issues I pointed out but for me it was less than my deductible, in theory will add other features I might use, and even if the PIN only works most of that time that still tips the odds in my favor. I'm sure that if someone really wants my Jeep they'll get it, but the thing is I don't need to deter all theft. Some dude going to put my Jeep on a flatbed to ship it to where ever is not really my concern, I'll pay my deductible and get another vehicle. But what I really don't want is some idiot stealing my Jeep and joy riding it breaking it just enough to not be totalled, then leaving it somewhere the cops find it before my insurance has paid me out. I think the tazer will stop most of that.

just install a dead switch to the fuel pump or the starter coil. cost about 25 bucks to do it your self extremely easy to wire. and no matter if they change the PCM or hack the canbuss they cannot start it

EVT My Mopar. It's a tracking device If the vehicle moves without being turned off with your remote it's connected and you can't just pull a fuse and kill it very quick because of the brain is hit up underneath the dash hard to get to and when they open the door it's going to go off The minute my vehicle moves without being turned off and notifies me and the tracking company and the police are called I can locate my vehicle 24/7 within 5 ft of where it is. Lars do nothing nowadays as we know most vehicles are stolen with the tow truck or with the push start it sends a signal all the time back and forth to the vehicle and they have a blank laptop device and it can just put it on your garage door and and still the signal from within your house of the remote and then they put it on a key fob that that's blank. On Amazon you can buy those little pouches for about $10 It's the same thing like people still in this signal from your credit cards. Put that little remote in your the pouch when you're at home you can't even get in the vehicle it won't start even with the remote inside the vehicle because it's not sending the signal it's blocking it. But if they did get that signal and they or they tow it like I said there's been a couple times for some reason it didn't turn off and I start driving down the road they'll call me and say are you in your vehicle and I said yes okay we have a signal saying that it wasn't turned off and it's moving You don't want to wait till 8:00 in the morning when you get up and they've had 10 to 12 hours use it the one dealer I go to every vehicle in their lot has it It's $150 for a year it's not bad. They've had a vehicle that got stolen and taking Mexico and they found it went and got it It's almost like OnStar except long story people know where to pull the fuse pretty quick This is a little different look into its best deal you can get the tracking devices is the way to go Like I said I can always look at my vehicle see where it's at. When I was at the dealership and he told me they were in it was in a shop being worked on at the time I talked to him It was a lie because it was still sitting out there in the lot I could see it It never moved for days lol This is the best device you can get Yes this is a long post with sorry I just wanted to keep talking I guess lol. 877 477 3710 at least give them a call and talk to them about it you'll be glad you did
You used 1 too many periods.
