Lock/unlock tailgate (nonpower locks models)

How is thw rear tailgate locked and unlocked on JLs with manual (nonpower) locks?

I didnt see a keyhole anywhere. Is there a lock/unlock toggle on the inside of the tailgate?

Mine has a keyhole under the handle the same as on the doors. Insert key and turn to unlock and then insert key and turn to lock. My next Jeep will have power locks. ?

Some Jeeps don't have the key hole on the tailgate, and there doesn't seem to be any reason for the difference. However, all Jeeps with manual locks should have the key hole.. if yours doesn't have power locks, and you have no key hole, someone screwed up.
