Quadratec says top and panels weigh 85 lbs. I'd say the freedom top panels weigh 15 lbs together. So maybe 70# for just hardtop.
well this is exactly what I did and after putting it off forever, it was pretty easy to do. Can now close the tailgate with one hand since it is lined up correctly. Give it a shot!
I'm looking for a replacement interior plastic tailgate piece. I liquified mine using a blackstone on a tailgate table. If anyone has one laying around, I can send you a ups label. Thanks!
I have had an exped megamat for 5yrs that I love. But, I ordered my mom a “lost horizon” pad from Amazon that is just as nice and probably a tad more comfy.
LOSTHORIZON 4.5” Thick Self Inflating Sleeping Pad with Solid Foam, Camping Mattress with Pump Sack, Portable Roll Up Bed, Inflatable...
The service manager at my dealership had not heard of this recall back in October when I went in person to ask him about it. He said no one else had inquired about it all year. I waited while he researched it and read up on it on his computer. He was then very helpful, sympathetic, and sent a...

I bought the Airlift 1000 air bags and they are a great inexpensive and easy to install solution.
others will surely chime in... but your batteries are 3 yrs old at least. Don't just replace the aux battery, replace both, now. There's a ton of info already posted on this forum that explains how and what.
I like how the vector off road one mounts in a few different places - it doesn't look like it would move in an accident. The amazon ones have to be assembled inside the jeep with 16 screws/washers. Mine is mounted like it is because I never could get it assembled "square" around the rear roll...
It is working great. I like having it between the front seats and the rear roll bar rather than towards the back window. This whole setup only cost me maybe $160. Having said that…if I had unlimited money, I would definitely have bought the vector off-road one that mounts to the roll bar.

pretty sure I bought “n” from this list but it doesn’t give the specs.
I used the under the dash wires and routed the dometic wire kit under the seat and under the center console to the drivers side rear where I had a bracket fabbed for the plb40 to hang from the hard top bolts. Fridge is on slider beside it. There are a few screws you can use for a ground in the...
I did exactly this. Dometic hardwire kit to aux switch 2 for only ignition power. PLB 40 plugged into that and my dometic 35 fridge plugged up to plb40. Works flawlessly. I also have solar panel that plugs to plb40 for when I want to stay in one spot a while.

wait... you really have never noticed that the "original poster" (OP) gets a "OP" banner on their avatar on every subsequent post by them on a thread they created (originally posted...) on every thread on this site??
:CWL: well between all the usual road noise and my noisy mud tires, I really don't notice. I also can't make a phone call in the jeep because no one can hear me and I've busted the front dash speakers I just put in a year ago. So I'm not really worried about noise... just want that wind in my...
