Hello dears,
I'm wondering about the logic of my wrangler on not UNLOCKING the doors when i press UNLOCK.
This issue occurs when I’m driving my Jeep and stop to pick up a passenger.
Here’s the situation:
Check the attached video (just put the car in P , switched off ) and:
Any ideas what's going on? I'm not a MOPAR logic expert, but if I press UNLOCK on the door normally i desire that the car immediately UNLOCK every door ...
The issue is that to pickup the passenger i need to reach the manual unlock switch on passenger door and manually unlock it to allow the person in... geez.
Coul it be some cable / fuse? I got my jeep used… so not sure if previous owner did something ..

Thank you very much
I'm wondering about the logic of my wrangler on not UNLOCKING the doors when i press UNLOCK.
This issue occurs when I’m driving my Jeep and stop to pick up a passenger.
Here’s the situation:
- I put the car in Park , keep the engine running or also switch it off, and press the Unlock button to open the doors.
- Instead of unlocking, the car tries to lock itself again.
Check the attached video (just put the car in P , switched off ) and:
- If I press Unlock, the car immediately tries to lock all doors again (doors remain locked).
- If I press Lock, the doors stay locked as expected.
- If I manually unlock the door turning the switch, it works — but then pressing Unlock again causes the car to lock all the doors.
