Hey brother and sister Jeepers! I have a 2022 Rubicon. I'm sitting on 37's NRG's with a 2'5" Clayton lift kit. I'd like to sit higher; feel like its too low for 37's. What do yall think? Whats the highest I can go without getting to crazy? I was thinking 6" lift, but maybe a 4'5" will suffice. Will I have to do anything else if I go higher? Please share recomendations for lift height, and brand of lift I can consider! Thanks everyone!

If you're planning keeping the OEM fenders, I feel like a 3.5" lift is enough height while not looking overly goofy. My wifes JLUR has a 3.5 MC GC with a 37" KM3. Lots of room for flex and no rubbing at full articulation.

You can change the inner liners of the fenders to open on the wheel wells, or swap the fenders altogether to get more room.

No need to go that high on the JL. You bring a lot of geometry correction into play at 4.5-6”’of lift…..My recommendation is to clearance the fenders, either by chopping oem fenders, or aftermarket……… I’m on 3.5” lift and 37s with fender chop……….

I had the 3.5" Metalcloak Gamechanger that gave an actual 4" of added height after the added weight of armor, winch, and other accessories. I also had the 38x13.5 Patagonias on 17x9 wheels.

At that tire size, it's best to buy once cry once. To build a solid and proper base it's best to go with a lift that upgrades all 8 control arms and both track bars, along with a set of stronger steering linkages.

If you plan on sticking with 37s keep itbas is. With 6" of lift you could be on 42s...

I had 40's on a 4" kit.

I think a 3.5 looks just right with those tires. I recommend the Metalcloak 3.5 Gamechanger. They tend to run a little high so you could end up over that 3.5.

I originally netted about 4.5" with the 3.5" Gamechanger. It dropped to about 4" after adding the winch and mounting plate, lighting and their controllers, sliders, air compressor, stronger rear bumper, and hinged tailgate reinforcement.

Are you wanting to wheel this jeep or keep it on pavement?

If you're planning on wheeling it, keeping it as low as possible and getting the most articulation out of it as possible is the more ideal solution.

Once you get it too tall you decrease the amount of roll the Jeep can handle before... it rolls over.

37s on 17" beadlocks and a 3.5" MC GC lift:

Of course you can go with a six inch lift. Sounds like you're going for a "look" and not performance, so six inches sounds about right. I'm not sure if there are taller lifts available, but since you're already running a Clayton lift, you might try their 3.5" and then use some 2" spacers on top. I know that doesn't get you to 6", but you could then use a 1" body lift. The body lift doesn't raise your center of gravity as much as a spring lift, but that should be ok since you don't care about performance.
