I'm planning on getting a 2021 rubicon (ecodiesel). And will be wither going 35s or 37s (most likely the 35s).

I saw this 2.5" lift kit from Icon.

Will I be needing any additional parts?
Could I go without drag link and tie rod? Something I need right away or can wait?

I don't see anything missing but I'd make sure it has front bump stop extensions they are designed for a diesel. The jounce tube on diesels that hold the front bump stop is 1 3/8" longer than normal gassers. If they use the same extension you may not get any additional up-travel from the lift.

I was thinking these were bump stop extensions but can't tell. The rectangular ones look like the extensions for the rear.

The circled part above is indeed the front bump stops. I just installed this lift on my 3.6 JLUR. So far I'm loving it. If you have any questions I'm happy to try to answer.

Was there any additional parts needed?

What's the difference in onroad and offroad compared to stock?

Actually I just noticed your kit include the upper links front and back which I did not do. Just the fixed lowers on the front to keep caster the same. Hard to compare ride difference since I installed it at 42 miles on mine but compared to others I have driven and the short time I drove mine, I see no difference on road. Very good manners and no wandering. Off road, particularly on the stutter bumps, this seems far superior to stock with the dual rate springs. Glad I went with the stage three to get the adjustable track bars. Front and back were out considerably (to me) after going up. I was on the fence on whether I would need them but glad I got them. I also got mine from XT. Call them up and they may entertain a discount over retail. They did for me although I bought several other items on the same order. Worth asking the question!

Installing an ICON stage 8 with the adjustable shocks on my 2018 Rubicon JLU on Saturday, anything that I should look out for on this kit?
