Hey guys, I know that general consensus is to get an alignment after you install a leveling kit. I installed a steel bumper and winch on the front of my JLU willys, and there's a noticeable rake, front certainly lower. I was thinking about installing a set of 3/4 inch leveling spacers in the front to bring it back near stock height. Do you believe that this amount of front leveling would require an alignment? I'm guessing honestly the vehicle needs one now since the front is sitting lower.

Do not need alignment.

I have 2" front & 1.5" rear spacers with no alignment. Tracks true.

Thanks guys. I'm not considering the 2 inch front 1.5 inch rear from teraflex since you mentioned it. I'm just a little concerned it'll be too much since I have aftermarket fenders and don't want to regear for 37s.

Another question then for you guys. The willys comes with rubicon shocks factory. The rubi sits a couple inches higher than my jeep from the factory. This sounds to me like I could run this 2 inch lift kit on my stock shocks without extenders. Does that sound right?

I'm not sure how a leveling spacer kit would impact gearing/37s. ???

EDIT: I think I get it now: the spacers would create too much tire/fender gap, which would drive the need (cosmetically) for 37s to fill the gap, and the 37s would be difficult to pull with stock gearing.

They don't impact regearing, however I don't want to end up in a position where 35s look too small, since it's the biggest I can run without regearing.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Yes, you can run a 2" lift since you have the longer Rubicon shocks w/ the Willys package. I'd just look for some Rubicon take-off springs from a heavy 4 dr. If you do that I'd also consider getting the longer mopar lift LCAs to keep caster proper.

That was the original plan, however it wouldn't fix my rake. And there's still concern that it'll make the 35s look too small. In my opinion my stock 32s are looking pretty small right now with these fenders. I really don't need anything tempting me to run 37s lmao.
