Obviously the 255/75-17 is a stock size, and in reality they measure out the same as the 245/75-17 that you've got because the BFG KM runs small. So, you don't need any lift at all. I would suggest sticking with the 1.5" kit so that you can maintain as much ride quality as possible.
Interesting, didn't know they run small. Well, hopefully the more aggressive tread looks better. If nothing else, it will be more functional. Havent seen them in person, picking up tonight. I'm just thinking that a small lift/level will add to that functionality, just don't want it to look goofy.

It will look better and will perform better offroad. It just won't be bigger than what you have, that's all. Combined with a small lift, it'll look very cool.
