The little lightbulb fixture wouldnt rotate once inside the housing. Did you have any issues with this during install? it is possible that they changed something on the 2019. website says fits 2018 but not 2019.
You bring up a good point! Compare the H13 tabs on the LED bulbs with the stock halogen you removed. I didn't have to on these bulbs with the JLU, but in the past on my audi I had to trim a little plastic off the aftermarket bulbs so they would insert and twist. One of the tabs was too thick and kept the bulb from turning. This is the downside sometimes with mass produced lower cost stuff.

Please don't consider this unless you are comfortable with the risk of making the bulb completely useless and non returnable. This is why many choose more expensive options without these potential issues.

Nah I was wrong. I the oem rubber gasket didnt come off with the lightbulb, thats why they wouldnt turn.

I reinstalled. They fit and work and are super nice.

Great news! It's nice when the resolution is simple.

I am extremely happy with my set and visibility is much, much better!

Yeah I agree. the OEM halogen are terrible. I can't believe Jeep couldn't just put LED light bulbs on a modern vehicle. It isn't expensive thing to do, specially from the factory. My guess it is a marketing strategy, it forces people to pay for the overpriced $1,000 LED package. Back when the JL came out, most people going for a wrangler wouldn't turn the other way for lights, because there was no solid competition for the wrangler. I hope things like this change with the new competition coming up next year.

Beamtech H13 LED Headlight Bulbs. Bought them a year ago for $31.00 (eBay). I have since replaced them because I wanted halos but I really liked the Beamtechs a lot.

I ended up buying the Beamtech bulbs off Amazon. For $38.99, I’m amazed at the drastic improvement! No flickering, super easy to install (literally plug and play). The difference between these and the stock halogen is just stupid. For $40, everyone should do this. Here’s my picture of the difference. Driver side LED, passenger side stock halogen.

Don't forget to check your new beam pattern with the LED bulbs against a wall. I remember having to adjust mine slightly lower with the much brighter bulbs. However, the cutoff is very clean.

Yes, it is an amazing improvement and no brainer decision. (I have the TECHMAX bulbs. Basically, same as the beamtech) I may still later replace my headlights with LED halos. However, for now I can drive safely with much better night visibility.
