wondering which wires need to be tapped to add the resistor for front running/turns

Using the wiring diagram linked by @mwilk012 looks to be white/green and ground, don't know if it will need it, does 2x led= one Halogen bulb as far as amp draw? don't know.

So you want the DRL and turn signals to function identically? That could be hard to swing. You’ll need two bulb sockets each with two inputs and grounds or a common ground, probably identical to the sport model plugs, but I’m not sure they’ll fit the housing properly.

Everything is doable, its just whether or not it’s reasonable when other lighting options exist.

Shane and I have already worked out him getting the sockets he needs and as I posted above, just need to file a small amount of plastic in the housing to make the socket fit. I still say its doable. Pretty simple really.

saw the diagram, apologize for being dense, I'm getting old I guess, does the resistor connect the two wires or is it in series with the bulb, or ???

The resister is in parallel with the light to add enough amp draw to the circuit so the BCM wont give you the hyperflash and signal out messages.

Don’t forget the right side uses different colors. Same concept though, just place a resistor in parallel with the turn signal bulb when installing LED replacement bulbs.

Or, you can use a programmer and not have to worry about the wiring.

Received some what was advertised as 1157 canbus, left tail and blinker are rapid flashing like when you have a bad flasher or a bulb out, guess they will be going back.
Got them on Amazon SeA lighting.. Dont buy them unless you want the same problem.

I’ve had pretty go luck with Auxbeam leds from Amazon. Haven’t got the bulb out message or hyper flash with them

Thanks. I'm not finding any 1157 offered by Auxbeam on Amazon, closest I'm getting is 1156.
I did receive resistors today but I was going to use them on a different car, I just hate cutting wires on a new car, guess I might need to get over it.

I hear you man. If you can, mount them to something to act as a heat sink, they do get Hot!
