I had the same rear main seal oil leak at about 2000 miles on my JLUR. My jeep had been in the shop for 2.5 weeks. I'm told it will be at least another 3 weeks until the part is available. How long is everyone else waiting for the dealership to repair this?

I have same issue at about 2100 miles with my Jeep JL sports. At dealer lot since last 3 weeks, waiting for seal with ETA 2/22/19. Looks like a common issue with parts on backorder for so long? Frustrating.

I GOT A LEAKER. After waiting 6 months, now this. Should not have passed inspection. This is a big job to repair and remain fixed.
Me too ! with 12 miles on my JLUR it's leaking antifreeze sitting in my garage . I ordered it Sept 13/18 and was dropped to the Dealer 11/30/18 I picked it up 12/3/18 trailered it home 263 miles and found out it's leaking antifreeze on the trailer and it's sitting in my garage as of 2/4/19 still leaking . I called talked to the GM he said he'd find out about transporting it back never heard back from him . I've called him numerous times at the Dealership and on his cell and he can't find the time to call me back as far as I care come get it and cash me out . I've been wanting a Jeep for 17yrs and this is how FCA and the Dealership does me .Evidently the delivery inspection was not done and I've got a 55,000.00 headache I've had 25 new GM vehicles and 1 new Ford never having problems . I'M DISAPPOINTED AS HELL !

Mine just got picked up by the Roadside; was about to crank it when I saw the puddle on the driveway. Got underneath and noticed the leak from between engine and transmission. Engine oil was just changed this weekend (all work at the dealer). Real bummer; I'd wish you and I were arguing over who has the best jeep but I guess, right now, it sucks. Mine only has about 9,500 miles.

Not that I'm trying to rant but it did bother me quite a bit. Today I called the Dealer at about 8:45 a.m. and was informed the Towing Company had not delivered the Jeep to them. My aggravation started; I then called the towing company and they assured me they dropped off the Jeep last night. What happened was the driver took the key but the Jeep was there at the Dealer; the dispatcher just asked me to hold and they would deliver the key within 1/2 hour. I called the Dealer back at about 10:30 to make sure they had my Jeep and keys. To my surprise, and an insult, the Service Advisor said that the Express Lane tech department said the Jeep had no oil leak (they serviced the Jeep this past Saturday). At this point, yes, I got upset; I had a little discussion with the advisor and I offered to send the pics for evidence; pictures were sent. For the remainder of the day, I did not receive any information; I then get a text message from the Service Department saying to text them if I needed information on my Jeep. So I did; I asked for a status. No response; I then called at about 4:30 pm and was on hold for 30 minutes. I hung up, called back, and told the Service Advisor I did not want to hold for another 30 mins and just wanted a quick update on the Jeep. The Advisor at that time told me they had not checked the Jeep out; anyway, tomorrow shall be a new day.

This is what bothers me:

A) I shouldn't be having this problem with such a new vehicle but life happens
B) Most aggravating, being told by the Service Advisor that the vehicle was not leaking oil; all it takes is for someone to kneel down and take peek; I'm lost as to why it was such a difficult task
C) Honestly, I've always trusted my dealer; they've been good to me (this is the 3rd brand new vehicle I buy from them) but I was bothered that I had to send hard evidence to get anywhere; however, if they are not willing to at least check the oil, crank it up, and observe, then I just do not know what to say about them at this point.

Well, that's been my experience with my Dealer the last 24 hours or so; I hope tomorrow I get a better response from them and I cannot be with it for 3 weeks; my wife and I both work and need both vehicles. We'll see.

What sucks some of you have 2019's. Kinda of shuts up the whole don't buy first year jeep argument. Bottom line is these things happen no matter what model year.

On a separate note. I wonder if some of you are noticing this after an oil change. Did you all confirm that the dealer didn't overfill as what seems to be happening with a lot of people here? Some dealers are putting in the JK amount of oil and the JL takes 1qt less.
