The rear shocks ( RT5100) on my AEV lifted and equipped shock are Leaking oil. They only have 19K miles on them.
Can they be rebuilt?

no you can not rebuild 5100's contact AEV and they should warranty them. Bilsteins have life time an AEV has a lifetime warranty if you are the original owner with proof of purchase. this is the number to call. 248-926-0256

Good luck with that . I have 2 leaking AEV Bilstein shocks and had to buy both of them from AEV.

I hope that's not the case. The thing that got me looking under the back end was the left rear tire to fender clearance was three inches more than the right. I first thought I may have a busted spring. Now think something inside the shock is holding it up.

a shock even if completely blown is not going to make 3" of height difference. you have something else going on.

I wouldn’t count on AEV covering anything under warranty. I’ve had several small parts of theirs fail and was made to purchase replacements each time(under 10k miles). Most recently the threads at the adjustment bolt on the turnbuckle for their spare tire mount stripped while on the trail.

They replaced a leaking steering stabilizer on mine. Ditto for 4.63 rear diff gears a few times, eventually replacing rears and fronts with 4.56s.
