I've been mulling over the thought of increasing the power and throttle response on my 2018 JLUSS 3.6, without sacrificing reliability. Any thoughts, experiences, video, dyno numbers, or links to products??

I wish you luck, unfortunately, the aftermarket produces few performance parts for engines that don’t have a factory performance variant. The 3.6’s need and market for quality roller rockers that aren’t available is an example.

Re-gear, or nothing at all. Do not bolt on power adders to the 3.6L. It is already a strung out motor with very high compression, high operating temperatures, and advanced timing.

Throw 4.88's in your diffs and roll on stock wheels and tires, and you'll get the "broccoli hair fast boi vibe YO" that you're looking for.

The real question is, why do you want to do this?

Re-gearing if needed, will give you the most increase. Lighter weight tires, more air in your tires. Reducing weight. Such as if applicable, removing winch heavy skids and rear seat if not needed. After market exhaust, which will reduce exhaust backpressure.
If power is your main adjective, then all of the above will help.

Livernois tune. With e85 its a 50hp increase. I have had it for 5 years and its a great upgrade. It comes with a tranmission tune as well. There is a big thread about it floating around somewhere.
Great if you will never go to where e85 isn’t available. I haven’t seen it in many years around here, if available at all, it certainly isn’t readily available.

You can put any grade you want in, tune will adjust to it. I believe its still a 35hp increase on 87 octane. Being able to use e85 is just a bonus.

I live in a town of 2000 people in the middle of nowhere. There is e85 10min away. Its not that unavailable.

Liver Noise did it right
Replaced stock PCM available for unlock and tune with warranty expiration with no downtime. I will investigate further then.
( they have a CARB compliant one)

My 3.6 must be spooked…I’m running 35’s with 3.45 gears and spinning tires from a dead stop at red lights! Passing at highway speeds is a breeze too!😎

A throttle controller (example) will provide the illusion of additional horsepower, via adjusting the signal between the right pedal and the PCM. Such controllers, which easily install inline just above the pedal, have several programs, or throttle response rates, from which the driver can select. Finding the right one for your requirements may or will make the Pentastar seem less lazy in a variety of driving scenarios.

While not a tune, per se, the aforementioned controllers are an easy and low-cost way to determine how far, or not, you might want to proceed here.

Sorry, you’re just going to have to take my word for it. All I added was a cold air intake. I’m not about to go film a video for you.🤪
Booooooooo! 🤣
