It’s not about integrity of the pictured dam

i just didn’t expect to need to spray paint the frame six months after the $60,000 purchase. Seems unacceptable that a brand new vehicle would come with this damage.

I'll commit to fixing all of my frame welds if you fix yours. Then we can eat some mac and cheese with a delicious beer.

Remember, it doesn't cost $60k to build a Rubicon, probably less then half that in parts and materials. Research and Development is part of that cost as car manufactures spend millions in developing new cars, retooling, new robots, etc. paid out of their pockets, and the manufacturer has a profit margin that is set for each vehicle it builds which is separate from what the dealer profits and dont forget warranty, recalls, advertisement, insurance. My guess is FCA pockets at least $17k for each wrangler it builds...

While is utterly disturbing to hear that, my consolation is I am not buying that aircraft.
