So I got hit directly in the rear driver rim and noticed that the rear axle got pushed to the passenger side pretty good. Do you think it has a frame damage from this

Youre going to need to take measurements to be sure there isnt also frame damage but looks like its the Trackbar that is bent causing your misalignment at a minimum. Could be plenty other stuff there thats bent as well no way for us to really tell from some pictures.

I would add, inspect all the moving parts of the axle for runout, I cant see how you dont have bent axle shafts, or worse.

please tell me you have a police report and they have insurance.

Last comment, I'd demand a new rear axle with all new parts, brakes, etc.

Check welds on attachment points for track bar and spring perches. Control arms, etc, all that stuff can be gone, as in, this could be a totaled vehicle if enough of that is bad. This of course does not count a bent frame.

Yeah there insurance is covering it. I’m just curious if there going to total it. Just trying to get input if anyone had a similar situation.

This exact scenario is what happened to Pain Train but it was hit hard enough for a roll over and broke the frame bracketry.

Check the welds on the frame side trackbar brackets.

However, the frame was perfectly fine. I wouldn't expect anything more serious that a trackbar bracket as far as the frame is concerned.

But like already mentioned, definitely have the axle housing checked. Mine was bent ever so slightly; just enough to not allow the axle shaft assembly to slide in and out easily.

I can't see them totaling your Jeep for something this simple.

Your Jeep is fairly new; I doubt it’s totaled since there’s no body damage that will add to repair costs. On a Jeep even a bent frame can be replaced. A lot of good advice for you in this tread. Assume the other party’s insurance is covering the repairs, you will also want to look into a diminished value claim as any repairs will reflected on future CARFAX reports.

Diminished value cannot be determined prior to the repairs. The value is diminished if the vehicle is worth less pre vs post-repair; that difference in value is the diminished value.

ETA: your frame is almost assuredly fine. Diminished value is paid through the third-party carrier (their insurance company). Theoretically, if a vehicle is repaired correctly, it is repaired to "pre-loss" condition, and there is no difference in the value of the vehicle after the repair. That being said, people have been able to collect additional money, diminished value, by showing if their vehicle were being sold someone would choose an undamaged vehicle over theirs, and that difference has a dollar value.

Track bar damage is a definite, control arms possibly, frame unlikely (but should be checked). Totaled? I would highly doubt it.

I got sideswiped/tboned last year hand had very similar damage to you. I would without a question replace your tack bar and it’s bent. For safety sake cut and weld a new track bar frame mount on, barnes 4wd makes some really good ones. (factory cracks even without an accident) and also check to make sure your rear axle isn’t bent. Dm if you have any questions!

I'd toss those shocks, just on principle.

This year I got hit un the front tire hard enough to break the axle and push everything towards the driver's side. No frame damage. 💪🏼
