Question... the original post in this thread dated back in August 2018 says he installed a FOX-985-24-173, and a few others said they also ordered, installed it. But when I called Quadratec and others today, they show the Fox 985-24-173 as pre-order. They said they never had them in stock and won't be available until sometime in Dec 2018. See link below that shows the pre-order status. How did the posters above get it when they say they never had it for sale yet? Very confused, please advise. Thanks!

I think Fox had some issues with a batch and they pulled back. They were probably retrofitting it but that is my guess. Unless you have an emergency situation (like death wobble), I suggest you wait a bit to buy the updated ones (possibly from Quadratec).

I got mine a few months ago from ORW and they're still available there today.

Are you guys properly adjusting the nitrogen for your application? For example toyo’s have a directional right pull adjusting the pressure to 150psi might resolve that. Now some tires don’t pull so you need to lower the pressure to stop a forced pull from too much psi.

Do they make a dual steering stabilizer kit with the Fox 2.0 shocks?

I had the fox put on today in place of the new updated mopar part that is on backorder by the dealership. It pulls to the right. I noticed it right away and after searching found this thread. The dealership installed mine with the main body in the center of the jeep, not by the wheel. Was there installation instructions with this? Maybe it is backwards? All online pictures i can find show it installed differently.

I am having the same issue with the Fox 2.0 stabilizer on my JLUR running 35s. I installed it yesterday and immediately noticed the pull to the right. My set up is a Dynatrac lift and the pull is very noticeable, especially on the highway. After driving it for a day, I couldn’t deal with it and I put the stock one back on. When I first installed it, the Fox Stabilizer had a noticeably strong decompressing rate and the factory did not. The factory one worked like a damper with equal amount of force to travel to both ends, unlike the Fox that really wanted to decompress and stayed at a decompressed position. The stock one would just stayed fully compressed or decompressed without wanting to go back to either direction.

I emailed Northridge4x4 and was told that they had contacted Fox regarding a return. So far (it has only been a day), I have not heard anything yet. I really wanted to like the Fox stabilizer to match up with the rest of my shocks, but it didn’t really work out for me.

I installed this one a few weeks ago and haven't experienced any pull on the steering while driving. it does feel slightly stiffer than the mopar part.

I installed the Fox steering stabilizer 985-24-173 that I purchase brand new about 2 months ago and it is pulling to the right, even after 200 miles, thinking maybe it had a break-in period. Doesn’t pull right when testing without a steering stabilizer. OEM didn’t pull right either. WTF Any ideas why?

Did you try to compress it by hand before or during the install? I tested it first by hand and it always quickly kept pushing back out to fully extended position.
I did compress it by hand, yes. i noticed it started to expand on its own afterwards. I remember when installing it I had to compress it repeatedly until I finally got both ends in place. it didn't expand rapidly, but just enough to be annoying on install.

I haven't noticed any pulling on a flat road or highway. I have read comments in this forum complaining about pulling to the right with this stabilizer, but I just looked around and can't seem to find them. there was talk about an early batch with problems, and one guy sent his back to fox for inspection, but I never saw anything definitive on the issue.

edit: so I just realized this is the thread with the comments I remembered seeing
