I upgraded PCs recently and using the cable that came with my Tazer JL today I was unable to connect to the Z Automotive Programming Utility (ZPU) from this new PC.
I knew it wasn't the cable or Tazer as such communication was available from my old PC.
It turns out that I needed to repair the ZPU FTDI software driver on the new PC, as per Z Automotive support, which can be downloaded at their suggestion from https://ftdichip.com/drivers/vcp-drivers/
I just wanted to put that out there with a bunch of search tags in case anybody else has the same issue.
